[JenJ]

Jen curled up with Keri. "I know and I know when that happens I will need to go off because I don't think I want Dusty to see me tomorrow."

Juli nodded. "I don't know that I want to go in there."

Kallie nodded. "Yes little love you are exactly right on what will happen. Jen will go off to think because she doesn't want Dusty to see her later this day for the day it is. Yes I will ask and you don't mind do you?"

Keri looks at Jen for a moment and tries to pull up a memory, she remembers this time of year and Kallie being upset one year as she tried to comfort Jen on the phone. She wraps her arms around Jen tightly and holds her tightly as she realizes what it is. "I'm so sorry Jen."

Dusty takes a deep breath, she isn't going in unless Juli does.

Katelyn looks deeply into Kallie's eyes, a bit of concern showing in them. "I don't mind Kallie, I trust you. And someone has to connect with Dusty, she's not admitting it but she is grieving. Her anger is just a defense mechanism"

 

[JenJ]

Jen curls into Keri more. "It does get easier this day is easier every year but it is tough for me. I mean Kristen was my everything for so long and the day we married was the best day. I don't want Dusty to see me on this day." She reaches up and toys with her necklace with the two woman and the ring on it.

Juli looked at Dusty. "To warn you my guess is that they were intimate and Jen will probably go off to be by herself today it's the anniversary of when she and Kristen were married."

Kallie looked at Katie. "Yes indeed I know that she is and hopefully I can get through to her."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri continues to hold Jen tightly, she kisses the top of her head and just snuggles her close "I understand, I really do. Because even though Juli didn't die, when she was sent off I thought I would never see her again." She thinks for a moment "Your going to have to talk to Dusty Jen. We are alot alike, you said something about her parents dying and I could see anger in her eyes, but she is hurting. She just chooses to be tough, don't let her slip away Jen."

Dusty stopped walking and just looked at Juli. A panic ripping through her at the thought of losing the only person that she has truly loved. This on top of the grief that she has endured is almost too much. She starts to walk the other direction.

Katelyn sighs "Dusty and Keri are too much alike."

 

[JenJ]

Jen listened to Keri. "I know and I shall talk to her. I just don't know that I can do it today."

Juli grabbed ahold of Dusty's arm. "Stop right there. You aren't going to loose Jen. She and Keri have been connected for a long time because she took care of Keri two years ago when Keri was recovering from her injuries from Krystall. This was going to happen they just should have talked to us first."

Kallie nodded. "Yes they are very much alike. Dusty might walk away."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri smiles softly "It's okay hon, it will be okay. You need time to deal with today."

Dusty just looks at Juli stonefaced and emotionless. "I understand that, I just wish she would have asked. I would have said I didn't mind. How could I as long as it is one of the six of us?" She starts to pull away from Juli avoiding eye contact with her.

Katelyn sighs "I don't know... It's not like she has anywhere to go outside of going to the hotel."

 

[JenJ]

Jen leaned into Keri. "I will do that."

Juli looked at Dusty. "Yes she should have. But for what ever reasons she didn't. Being with someone is new to her again she has to remember what it's like. Let's go in and talk to them."

Kallie nodded. "I know that I think Juli will stop her though."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri just holds onto Jen gently, rocking her a bit and pulling the sheet up over them.

Dusty still avoids eye contact with Juli, her body tensing against Juli's touch but she says nothing, afraid her voice will falter.

Katelyn nods and snuggles up against Kallie for a moment. "I'm.. umm... gonna get dressed and get into the dark room, I will only be in the way."

Jen relaxes in Keri's arms slowly. "They are outside."

Juli looked at Dusty again. "Come on Dusty let's go talk to them."

Kallie smiled at Katie. "Thank you my Katie. I'm gonna stay here wait for things to happen."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods "I know, I can hear Juli talking to Dusty."

Dusty holds her breath for a moment then finally exhales "K" is her only response.

Katelyn kisses Kallie's forehead then gets dressed. She goes upstairs and gets some clothes for Kallie and hands them to her. "Here love"

 

[JenJ]

Jen looks at Keri. "We could attempt to put clothes on but it's kinda pointless."

Juli looks at Dusty again. She takes Dusty's hand and they go onto the boat and down to the cabin.

Kallie smiled at Katie. "Thank you love." She starts to get dressed.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods "Juli knows and I am sure Dusty does too."

Dusty looks at Juli as she takes her by the hand, her resolved fading a bit and her body relaxing somewhat. She squeezes Juli's hand as she walks with her.

Katelyn smiles and heads down the hall to the darkroom.

 

[JenJ]

Jen takes a deep breath. "Okay let's face the music."

Juli squeezes Dusty's hand softly. "okay then." They walk into the cabin to see Jen and Keri snuggled up in the bed.

Kallie sits back and waits hoping everything turns out okay.

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri watches the door and looks down as their partner's walk in.

Dusty freezes in the doorway, not wanting to step any further into the room than she has to.

Katelyn busies herself with printing pictures.

 

[JenJ]

Jen willed Dusty into the room further unsure of what to say.

Juli came into the room still holding Dusty's hand. "You two should have just asked us."

Kallie started to wonder what to say to Dusty.

Keri sighs and looks at Juli "I know Juli... I know... I am so sorry."

Dusty tries to stay where she is but is pulled by Juli into the room. She doesn't look at Jen for fear of bursting into tears.

 

[JenJ]

Jen slips from the bed not caring that she is nude. She walks over to Dusty and grabs ahold of Dusty's hands. "I'm so sorry Dusty. Please forgive me for not asking you first."

Juli looked at Keri. "Baby you are forgiven. Just don't do it again without asking."

Keri watches Juli a moment then rises from the bed and wraps her arms around her "Thank you love"

Dusty remains still as Jen grabs her hands, she can't talk or look at Jen because she knows she is going to break if she does. Her body starts to shake a bit though, giving her away and she loves Jen so much that she can't help but look up into her eyes.

 

[JenJ]

Juli wraps her arm around Keri. "We have things to discuss baby we should go home."

Jen gazes into Dusty's eyes and knows that her little one is close to breaking down yet she knows she can't handle that this day. "Little love please forgive me." She drops to her knees infront of Dusty. "If you wish you may thrash me for this."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri nods "Yes, we do" she says with a sigh. She looks over at Dusty, still concerned about her well being. Then looks up at Juli "Okay, let's go."

Dusty lets her guard drop a bit, her heart melting as Jen drops to her knees and literally begs forgiveness. She drops to her knees as well and wraps her arms around Jen tightly "All is forgiven love... I love you. No, I don't wish to thrash for this."

 

[JenJ]

Juli handed Keri her clothes as she watched Jen and Dusty. She waited for Keri to dress so they could leave.

Jen hugged Dusty close to her. "Thank you little love. I love you so much Dusty." She looks at Dusty. "I need to be alone for a bit today to think. But Kallie will be with you she wants to talk to you."

Keri smiles a bit and gets dressed quickly then takes Juli's hand, she is dreading this discussion for more than one reason but knows that they must leave.

Dusty remains strong through this as she snuggles against Jen for a moment. She wonders why Kallie wants to talk to her but doesn't ask. "I love you with all my heart Jen. Take care of yourself today."

 

[JenJ]

Juli takes Keri's hand and squeezes it as they walk off the boat.

Jen smiles softly at Dusty and holds her close. "I love you with all of my heart. I will take care of myself."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri squeezes Juli's hand back, walking very slowly next to her, almost behind her. She is totally dreading this conversation since the one from earlier in the day was never finished in all of the excitement.

Dusty smiles at Jen and kisses the top of her head, then backs away from her a few steps and turns toward the door. "It's okay, I'm not mad...." she says over shoulder and heads up the stairs and out of the cabin. Once she gets up on the deck she leans over the railing and looks down at the reflection of the moon and stars in the water, taking this time to calm herself before heading back into the house to see what Kallie wants to discuss with her.

Juli opened the car door for Keri leaving this discussion until they were home.

Jen pulled her shirt and skirt on when Dusty walked out of the cabin. She walked up onto the deck with Dusty. "Come let us go up to the house."

Kallie waited for them to come into the house still.
