Field House

Jen smiled. "Okay I can think of a couple places to visit in good old San Fran." Jen pondered if Dusty could get into a couple of the places or not but time would tell on that and it wouldn't happen until Dusty saw a couple other things.

"Where do you want to eat?"

Dusty smiles "Hey, we could use part of this money for the trip to San Fran.. That will be so cool to go there. They are so relaxed there and not uptight about stuff."

Dusty smiles "Oh, I don't care... I'll eat pretty much anything... You choose."

Jen grinned. "Yes that would be nice and we won't have to worry about being spotted there either."

Jen thought about food. "Red Lobster sounds good we have the time before practice and it's not as if they can start without us."

Dusty smiles "That would be nice, we can just be ourselves when we are there right?" She leans back in her seat and closes her eyes, imagining walking on the beach at sunset with Jen and stuff like that then grins as Jen's suggestion. "Oh that sounds nice, I haven't been there in ages."

Jen squeezed Dusty's hand. "Yes we can just be us there."

Jen drove to Red Lobster and they both went inside. "So what are you going to have?" she asked once they had there menus.

Dusty looked down at Jen's hand as she squeezes it then over at her and smiles. She's not letting anything get to her, not now or ever.

Dusty looks over the menu for a moment and thinks about how to manage the food issue. Practice is usually fairly light on Mondays so no need to carbo load. She looks up at Jen and smiles "Steak and a lobster tail maybe? What about you?"

Jen nodded. "A steak does sound good yet I have the craving for popcorn shirmp. That must seem silly yet it's like traditional when I come here and has been for a long time."

Dusty grins as she looks over her menu at Jen. "That's not silly at all. Unfortunately I'm a spoiled brat and have never really eaten anything but steak and lobster. That's what dad always ordered for me."

Jen smiled. "That's not spoiled that just means you could afford that. So steak and lobster tail for you and popcorn shirmp for me. Oh I have an idea we can share the steak and of course since we are out and have practice we can't have a drink."

Dusty smiles "That sounds great to me. We could order an extra lobster tail if you like. It's like shrimp just much sweeter. And hmmm.. I want a boston iced tea." Dusty smiles as the waiter comes over to her. She grins and tells the order to him. He writes it down and comes back with their salads and bread very quickly. Dusty giggles "We're regulars here."

Jen smiled and giggled a bit. "I can see that wow never had such service here before. So how are you holding up my sweet?"

Jen smiled at Dusty more waiting for her answer.

Dusty watches Jen for a moment then sets her hands down on the table and looks at them while she plays with her senior ring. She seems to be in deep thought for a moment. "I'm ok I guess. I'm just trying to move on and not be upset about it. My loss is my loss, but it's also my freedom. It's bringing us closer together." She shrugs her shoulders and looks back up at Jen, finally smiling after a bit. "I'll be ok."

Jen smiled as she listened to Dusty as well as watching her play with her ring. "Okay my sweet." She smiled at Dusty and squeezed her hand as well. "Things will be just fine we are together and will be together forever."

Dusty smiled as Jen squeezed her hand, she held onto Jen's hand and listened to her, her breath catching in her chest. "Yes things will be fine... forever... I don't ever want to be apart from you." She looks up as the waiter approaches and blushes a bit since her and Jen are holding hands. The waiter grins at her and leans over giving a flash of the pride necklace under his shirt "Finally coming out eh?" Dusty giggles a bit and nods.

Jen relinquished Dusty's hand as the waiter approached and blushed when she heard his words. "We won't be apart my sweet so don't worry about it."

Dusty lets out a soft sigh as if relieved by Jen's words. She just sat and watched Jen, not taking her eyes off of Jen's through the whole meal. She didn't say much as she ate, just watched...

Jen ate slowly making little comments here and there as they ate. She offered Dusty some of her shirmp as they were eating and feeding each other little bites of steak. Rather forgetting they were out in public and not really caring because hiding the relationship would be tough and she didn't really care anymore Dusty ment more to her then teaching and it's not as if Dusty wasn't of age.

Dusty responded to each of Jen's comment with a smile. She continued to watch Jen, still shocked by everything that has happened and not sure what to say. Her heart beats faster each time Jen feeds her a bite of food and she does the same for Jen.
She is just so happy that words can't describe how she is feeling and she just can't put her thoughts into words. She tilts her head a bit towards the end of the meal as she realizes that they are not at Jen's house, yet in public. She is in awe of this, knowing that Jen must love her very much to put her job on the line. First the funeral and now this.

Jen just barely resisted the urge to lean over and kiss Dusty that is when she remembered they were in public. "Here's to hoping no one that could get me trouble was about." She gave a half giggle. "Not that I care really for you are more important to me then anything."

Dusty raises an eyebrow as Jen starts to speak then giggles as she notices that no one else is around. She leans back in her chair and as Jen says that she is more important than anything else her jaw drops and looks at Jen in awe. "You would really put your job on the line for me?" Jen shakes her head a bit and leans forward placing her hands on top of Jen's on the table. "No one has ever loved me like that before..."

Jen smiled at Dusty and squeezed her hand again. "You are my sweet one I love you more then anything. If people can't accept that then it's there problem." Jen offered another smile as the waiter returned with the bill.

Dusty smiled at Jen and looked up at the waiter. She is still very shocked at Jen. All she can say is "Wow" as she pulls out some money and pays the waiter, leaving him a very large tip. She leans forward a bit and grins "I love you more than anything as well. I want nothing more than to be with you forever."

Jen smiles and leaned foward planting a soft kiss on Dusty's lips then pulled back. "I love you so very much my sweet and we will be together for all eterinity."

Dusty gasps as her lips are kissed then smiles "Ohh.. oh wow... I love you too Jen and I want to be with you forever" she says as she stands and pushes her chair in the moves to help Jen up.

Jen stood up with Dusty's help. "We shall be together always. We should get to practice." Jen reached out and grabbed ahold of Dusty's hand as they went out to the car she knew once they got to practice she couldn't do that.

A hidden photojournlist snapped a picture of them walking out to Jen's car that would be front page news the next day.
