I enjoy literotica but to learn the lifestyle I chose fetlife years ago. D/s relationships are the best I think and fetlife gives you what you need to succeed.
It’s a huge site that encourages local social gatherings and info on every kind of kink. There are things for sale but I’ve never paid a penny. I’ve also met and trained my most wonderful submissive girl . Anyone else been on fetlife?

Met a few people over there in the past few years. Though anymore it feels like a for ca$$$h site. Every account has a link to their onlyfans and Amazon wishlist. Feels less like trying to make a connection with like minded individuals, and more like another social media platform to get followers and bank.

I was the same way when I started. In my case I was just there for a hookup, hitting on the girls in my area. I wasn’t connecting with them because I wasn’t in the lifestyle. I was missing the big picture.

Of course people from Lit are on Fetlife. There's an inactive group called Litsters Unite!!!! that has over 400 members that was formed in 2008.

Ignoring the pandemic, Fet was great for making real life connections at events/munches that were listed on Fet. Not so much now with very little non-virtual events...where I live anyways. Way too much onlyfans etc. for my taste now.

I've enjoyed Fet Life for finding local events. At first, I thought it would be a dating site but it wasn't at all. I've met some of my closest kinky friends there. Found great groups to attend - both vanilla and kink things.

Fet can be weird to navigate. Once you get the hang of it, you an filter groups by interest, by city, you can browse pictures.

Mostly though, I think it's a great way to find local kink stuff to do.

It can certainly seem that way at first glance. I was trying to hook up. I didn’t want to take the time to set up a profile and get into all these different groups or go and meet a bunch of people. Then I realized one day it was like going to a fine restaurant and just ordering coffee.
