Not really keen on the idea of turning it into a blackmail idea. Then it becomes more forced/non-consensual. The appeal to me is the fact that she's in control and it's her choice. It's hot to think of a girl that says all these things about feminism and women equality only to enjoy getting degraded and used and treated as less than. There's a dichotomy there that's fascinating and sexy. Also, the fact that it IS her choice and that she wants it is still pro women making decisions for themselves. I guess that could be true in the world of the story. In real life, there's a pretty visible overlap between outspoken feminists and the polyamorous and BDSM communities. The only people who this could get her in trouble with would be those who already opposed her.

I always enjoy conflicted protagonists, so I think this has promise. The animalistic instincts warring with the civilized fascade makes for a good dynamic.

This plays out in real life with pastors/elected officials who bash the gay life and then are caught with other men, ala Larry Craig. Sadly, it has not happened with women (that I'm aware of). (Part of this is due, of course, to the illegal nature of gay meetups.)

The addict knows what they want, fights valiantly to avoid to temptation, but then fate plays out and they find themselves getting another fix. Even the blackmail idea can be useful, giving the addict a fig leaf of cover: "Well, I wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for those pictures...."

I don't necessarily see this as a demeaning story depending on execution. I think the protagonist shouldn't be publically opposed to submissive sex but might fight against companies that use offensive ads or marketing practices (seems like every year we get a firm that puts up an add that seems to promote noncosensual acts as a shock tactic to promote buzz. Or maybe she works for an organization that helps prostitutes or porn stars who want out of their fields.

It could lead to a scene where she's in the middle of a session and suddenly calls an end to things, spooking her partner/s. Maybe he/she/they did something which reminded her of something a client said, maybe they just have a crisis of conscience. Or maybe she gets called away to a meeting and has to panic as she tries to find her bra or get the wrinkles out of her blouse since it was torn from her or used to bind her hands.

She loves the experience but knows that her standing would be hurt if her sex life would get exposed (anyone with a sex life outside the norm can have their life ruined if it becomes public knowledge...you go from Kim from the store to "Kim who masturbates to her girlfriend peeing in a bowl") . She tries to just focus on her work and having a "normal" life but feels as though she's denying a part of herself.

Eventually, she has to make a choice. However the story ends, she should never be actually "weak" she might take a submissive role but she never loses her ability to command authority when she is out in public or when she's one-on-one or wants a situation to stop. For more fun, maybe she's a switch and her moment of crisis comes to her when she's teasing and going rough on a girl she met. She's about to go even harder when a client's comment comes to mind and she sees herself as an abuser...she then had to resolve two issues and come to realize that it's okay to have a rough sex life and hold taboo fantasies while still fighting against real, damaging acts of abuse, harassment etc.

One way I could see it ending is that she starts playing it safer by getting a network of swingers that she knows personally and/or getting a partner who supports her lifestyle, shares her beliefs, and helps her separate her fantasies from the real life crap she fights against.

I've had a story idea kicking around for a while that is somewhat similar to this. But for me, it only works if the supposed opposition of feminist and slut is ironic. That is, a woman who avows feminist ideas comes to see her "feminism" as a form of restriction on her freedom as a person, and comes to see her "slut" side as a form of liberation. I don't get off on degredation, per se. There has to be something else going on that turns the "degradation" into something non-degrading.

Something that really ratchets up the erotic element for me is the clash of social values and mores over sexual activity. The clash of attitudes about sexuality (pro and con) within feminism offers some interesting material for erotic stories.
