No, it's about human rights. Get with the 21st century before your fear of women sends you over the cliff.

If Feminism was about HUMAN rights, it would be called Humanism.
I really, really have nothing against women, no matter how big an ass I seem. But seriously. Feminism IS all about women, period.
You're 23, according to your profile. When you've experienced rape, abortion, been beaten up by a man because he's stronger, sexual harrassment on the job and pregnancy where the baby daddy says it's me or it, then you you might have something real and relevant to contribute. Unril then, you're just another know it all who has a y chromosone.

Hence the ideological obsession with female monopolization of reproduction decision making.
Of course, it seeks ultimate control over all aspects of society, but the core is total control over the most basic life function itself, replication of the gene pool.
So just because I'm 23, I haven't experienced any of that? You might want to look into CHILDREN'S rights.Besides, I never said feminism was bad. Believe it or not, I consider myself fairly feminist, by normal male standards. But don't think that feminism is about human rights. It isn't. It's about female rights.
And I don't know everything. I admit that. I'm young and arrogant, and still have a lot to learn about life and love and everything.
Wait, forgot, its the GB. If you criticize "femanism" in any way, you "hate all women" and "fear women," etc. Cleaver way to try to silence any criticism of an ideology. Its the 21st century, not the 1970s. That just ain't gonna work anymore.
So just because I'm 23, you automatically assume that I haven't experienced any of that (besides the pregnancy part--I'm male, duh)? I'm a female. I also happen to be human. And women have been fighting for basic respect since the beginning. It's nothing new. What is "new" is that we don't think we have to put up wirh crap from men when they pontificate on what feminism is or isn't, and how they still think it's their right to explain human rights and women's rights to women. Geeze.
I'm not explaining women's rights to you, I'm simply pointing out that feminism is not about the human race as a whole. It has nothing to do with men.
You can correct me if I'm wrong (please do), but the definition of feminism that I was taught was something about supporting women and making sure they aren't abused and suppressed and similar things. Making sure they have equal rights and pay as men.
It has nothing to do with male rights. Or gay rights (well, except lesbians, I suppose). Or children's rights (except girls). But that's just what I've learned. You can correct me if I'm wrong. I would actually appreciate it, a lot.
Women's rights are part of human rights. How hard is this to understand??? Because you say male rights aren't included this therefore nullifies women as human and underserving of basic human respect?

Women's rights are part of human rights. However, Feminism is not about human rights as a whole, but rather focuses on the female sex and ensuring that they are not suppressed, harassed or abused and other things of that nature. It's nothing to be offended by--it's textbook definition stuff. Politics. I'm not the one that separates everything, the politicians and other organizations do. As far as I'm concerned, everything that lives and breathes has rights. Whether it's a human male or female, a monkey cat or dog, or even the rose growing in the park.
You seem to think I'm a bad person, but I'm not. You just somehow seem to misread every post that I make, and assume that I mean it in the worst possible way. I don't. 99% of my posts here have been light hearted jokes, meant to be funny and make me and perhaps a few others laugh. You shouldn't take me so seriously, and shouldn't try to read the worst possible meaning of the things I post.
I take women's rights seriously, too. And human rights. And gay rights. And animal rights. Rights in general, no matter what label you put it on, is a serious topic.
The problem is, I don't take the internet it's self very seriously. For all I know, you could be a man and for all you know I could be an old granny.![]()
