'female' Porn Writers

Umm, yea - who cares?

When I read erotic stories, I look for variety in the writing, since the plot and the mechanics tend to be relatively limited. I frequently look for male-written erotica specifically to get the other side's POV. If the writing doesn't fit the self-proclaimed sex of the writer (sometimes I can tell, sometimes I probably can't), do I feel cheated? Only if the story sucks... in a bad way.

Ha! Snagged.

=AMoveableBeast;63559207]The only thing I find strange about this comment, Carnal Flower, is that of your favorite authors listed on this site, of which I am one (and flattered to be), exactly all of them are male.

For the record, I don't care what gender the writer is, nor, if they do a good enough job, do I ever even consider it.[/QUOTE]

Yesterday I read the first chapter of an 'URBAN EROTIC TALE' written by a popular and prolific black 'female' author. Her prose is powerful but I wonder if she's female, she writes like a male. That is, the violence and sex are over the top extreme, and all the characters are minors. By the end all are dead, knocked up, addicted to crack, and have AIDS or all of the above. I read the book in the past.

Are you able to spot frauds?

I hinted at an acclaimed female Lit author who has inspired fan fic, that she writes like a man, "over the top etc." She laughed it off and said she was surprised that I said that, saying that she wrote things in her stories that she would never do in real life. That it was away of living out what she would/could never do.

-Is that not the same for all writers?
-We create impossible new worlds based on fear or and desire etc.

As a rule I don't care for female writing or female company. Sex is pretty much all they have to offer me.

"The quality of sex is not strained.

It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven

Upon the place beneath. It is twice blessed:

It blesseth she that gives and she that takes.

'Tis mightiest in the mightiest. It becomes

The thronèd monarch better than her crown.

Her scepter shows the force of temporal power,

The attribute to awe and majesty

Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of regents,

But sex is above this sceptered sway.

It is enthronèd in the hearts of regents.

It is an attribute to the Goddess.

And earthly power doth then show likest Divinity

When sex seasons company."

hehehehehehe. Portia?
