Female Erotica

Girlcatcher --

Hopefully stranger and I can keep you busy for at least ten minutes. Tiggs is a girl, she writes stuff. There's a lot of stuff in the nonconsent and bdsm written by women about women that I've come across...I haven't looked in the erotic couplings or other sections. Go to the author index and choose some names at random, would be my suggestion. You get a tiny bio and know if they're female or not.

Female written stories...

I've written three, and I think male and female erotic are mostly the same with a few key details... but part of it is what you like!

In my stories (which were continuing) the couple doesn't even fuck until the third one. Personally, I like build-up even more than the bang (and it makes the bang sooo much better) and I concentrate on that.

I find a few of the male authors are a little too eager to skip to the fucking itself. You've just met these people, and one paragraph in he has his cock out! I like to know details -- not just the pizza guy or the maytag repairman! Who are these people? Why are they doing this? How do they feel about it and can you see it from their actions?

If you have any story you can add so many elements just by changing these details... are they willing? Experienced? Virginal? Teasing?

I'm getting off track and ranty, so I'll sign off!! What do you guys think?

Temptation and desire is what makes people take a chance, for better or worse. It's the carrot that pushes the donkey, the Nobel Prize to the chemist, and the orgasm to the teenager...

one of my stories is all build-up, I like those a lot. Sometimes it's easier for me to just write sex, though, so if that's what I'm interested in ATM then that's what I write = )

In my Ember and Ashe serial the characters don't fuck until Chapter 6. I had originally planned that moment for Chapter 8 but had to advance the schedule because of the oodles of negative feedback I was receiving. BTW, that feedback was about a 50-50 split between men and women. (Or maybe 100% men with 50% claiming to be women? This is the Internet after all. Who really knows?)

The funny thing is, after I posted Chapter 6, I received about 30 pieces of mail from female readers absolutely hating what I did with the characters. That was more mail than I received for all of my stories put together up to that time. I really wish some of those women spoke up before I messed things up! Now I just do what I want, and every so often ask for feedback. The only exception is when the work is a requested story, like Rapunzel. Then I am more interested as to the feelings of the target audience.

I like to build up erotic tension, as well as the storyline. If I want a quick starting, immediately hot piece of porn I'll close the book and turn on the DVD or VCR. Tape excels at providing mindless and endless boinking sessions.

Who am I to compete with that?

However, it seems obvious that many or most of the stories that I've read were written by men or men pretending to be women.

I've written heterosexual stories as well as lesbian stories. I don't pretend to be anything other than the man I am. Thankfully, I've been well recieved in that regard.

Well said. I write about what interests me, and in the point of view and in the voice that will best convey the points I wish to explore. I choose the gender and sexual orientation of the point of view character based upon my story requirements.

So far, so good!

Chicklet,

That's a fine looking devil cat you have. But, honestly, I would rather see a picture of your other pussy!! :)

i heard her other pussy was a siamese. oh, that's not what you meant. nevermind. :D

I was going to fire some insult at chicklet for her remark about the way men think but decided against it because at least she acknowledged that we men do have brains and thoughts. I can't even get that sometimes these days. I'm too sensitive about it though. I know this.

What has come out of this thread for me is more evidence for the theory that guys go wrong by overestimating the daintiness of the women in their lives, when it comes to their sexuality. Push things a little, i say. Her mind is probably a lot dirtier than you're giving it credit for! :D

Both sexes have problems with thoughts sometimes, I'll admit. I think that I'm one of the most air-brained people...uhm...lost the thought.

I tried to write about something that didn't particularly interest me for my boyfriend. Cause it interested him.

ROFL...duh! Why would anyone write about something that didn't interest them? That's the most retarded thing I have heard today.

Lots of reasons:

- A request
- A personal challenge
- An attempt to stretch your literary wings
- Exploratory writings to feel out a topic
- An atempt to write past writers block

most of my half finished pieces are things that I started due to the ideas on this forum = )

Yeah I have a dozen MSWord programs called "new microsoft word document" with about two paragraphs in them, and then another dozen with a couple pages...but none are really interesting me at the moment. I just have to wait for the right time.

I was just thinking....I don't think it would be very effective to try to get past writers block by writing on something that doesn't interest you. Maybe its just me, but if I am having trouble writing, it's that one great idea that is the only thing to get me past it, not some half-cocked thing that doesn't "turn my crank."

For me, writing about anything is the key. Sometimes it isn't what immediately intrigues you that gets you the furthest, but the thing that provokes the most questions. Trying to determine why you hate something or feel so apathetic about it is as valid as scribbling about the topic that immediately stimulates you. Often, the former category generates the better story because it was carefully considered, and not just transcribed from everyday fantasy.

damn you all and your constant posting of excellent ideas!!!!
