So, for those of you who know-remember-give a shit, I walked off my job of six years due to stress almost one year ago.

The asshat they replaced me with was an attorney who'd I'd hired. He'd been in practice maybe a year at that time. I heard through the grapevine.... he resigned effective the end of this month.

Reason: Stress!

I lasted six years, three VPs, inumerable policy changes and a creep who followed me through the court houses screaming "why won't you return my e-mails?" (which BTW were full of love declarations, innuendos and THREATS -- I'm comitted with 2 spawn and OMG he was DISGUSTING anyway).

He lasted less than a year from when I left.

Who wants to lift a glas with me and say PPPPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT??????????

But if you're going, I'll register and tell SG it's the price of sex. Two EC author's are begging me to sub m/m... they sell 1200 books the first month. Even if I'm in the hole I'll make it back. But I also have a dealer's table at yaoi con in San Fran end of Oct.

EC royalties are, so I hear, on the significant side. If you've got something they'll publish, then go for it. I don't write to their niche.

I won't know for sure if I'm going for months yet. I expect the conference to sell out well before I know for sure. (They're only taking 200. I'm already registered, but will cancel if needs be.) If I don't go, I'll be going to the Orlando Litogether instead -- and doing the WV Book Faire the weekend of LJWC.
