Feedback questions

I was wondering, for those of you who have feedback comments turned on for your stories, do you allow anonymous?

For those who leave feedback, would someone having the anonymous feedback option turned off stop you from sending a comment?

I'm thinking about turning mine off. Most of the fb I get sent is nice, but I don't like the insulting fb like I just got IRT my latest approved story, Michelle Plays . "Why didn't you break the chair you BBW?" It's a true story about a recent experience of mine, I'm a BBW. I find comments like that hurtful. I don't mind the anonymous fb that says "Good story, but you need to work on _______"

So, I guess the question boils down to-anonymous fb, leave it on or turn it off???

I like any feedback which is not abusive, so if a few folks are more comfy doing it "anon", that's fine. I just ignore the hate mail. I prefer when people do leave an address, though, since I always respond.

I leave the anonymous option "on" -- but what I've noticed since turning on PCs is that I get virtually NO e-mail feedback (and THAT was where the most constructive criticism came from).

Some of my anonymous feedback is abusive; some shows that they have read the story thoroughly but hated it because...

Even some of the abusive stuff might be helpful because the title or category has misled them to expect something else. For example my 'Stag Party' and 'Hen Party' are very mild and some of the anonymous feedback has been rude because they were disappointed. That is my fault for sub-titling those stories wrongly.

If the anonymous feedback is abusive for no apparent reason I just delete it. I do not feel upset that there are such people around - I know there are but I ignore them.

I just don't get the hateful stuff, why bother?? I suppose I should have included BBW in the description. Oh well. Some people are just cowards.

I did get a piece of fb on my halloween story that I chuckled at, it was anonymous-but had a link to their stories! lol It wasn't mean or anything, I just thought it was funny to send anon, and give me the link to their stories!

Naw, not really. It's a way to get you to their Lit page without revealing their e-mail address.
