FBI: Deplorables are in BIG trouble and should be peeing themselves

The FBI has always been a corrupt and ineffective organisation, right from its inception over 100 years ago. Nothing has changed, nothing will change, they'll remain corrupt and ineffective until they're disbanded and the job they do is contracted to the Mounties.

Proud Boys alarmed by strength of cases against them: "We are fucked"

The Proud Boys who took part in the U.S. Capitol riot are privately worried about the strength of the cases against them.

Summaries of more than three dozen Telegram conversations between group leader Ethan Nordean and other alleged members of the right-wing militant group were submitted to a federal judge by defense attorneys showing their concern over the cases prosecutors have built against them, reported WUSA-TV.

"We are fucked," one message says. "They are coming for us."

A thing of beauty.

'They' keep saying there were no firearms on the grounds. Yet they keep charging people with having firearms on the grounds:

Of the more than 500 people now charged in relation to the storming of the Capitol,
at least 96 of them, or nearly 1 in 5, are accused of committing acts of violence,
according to a database created and maintained by NPR of all the people charged

The FBI has always been a corrupt and ineffective organisation, right from its inception over 100 years ago.

It's not ineffective. The FBI effectively shut down the NYC Cosa Nostra.

And it has never been corrupt in the moneymaking sense. One never hears even a rumor of an FBI agent on the take.

Should have guessed it-

Religious leaders that fed "End Times" fanaticism, were also part of January 6th.

Leaders of Florida church arrested in connection to Capitol riot

A father and son duo who lead a Florida church have been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot after a member of their congregation, who also faces charges from the mob attack, helped link authorities to the men.

Once in Peru, I saw a monastery where a nun's staff was preserved, with a prophecy that it would sprout leaves just before the end of the world. All I could think was, "Well, then, why doesn't somebody burn it?!" But these types seem to want the End Times to happen, even if they have to nudge it along.

the info against them continues to pour out into the view of the public eye

Thomas Robertson arrested after the Jan. 6 riot was told to stay away from guns. He bought 34, feds say.

In January, a federal judge agreed to release Thomas Robertson, facing multiple charges over his alleged participation in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

But Judge G. Michael Harvey’s release conditions were clear: Robertson could not own any firearms, destructive devices or dangerous weapons while his case was pending. If he owned any guns, he must relocate them within two days.

Days after his release, authorities found eight firearms at his home in Ferrum, Va., according to court documents. The judge gave Robertson a second chance, reminding him of his release conditions.

Then, last month, authorities found a loaded M4 carbine and a partially assembled pipe bomb while conducting an authorized search at his home, court records state. Robertson is also accused of buying 34 firearms online and “transporting them in interstate commerce while under felony indictment,” prosecutors said.
Now they are asking the judge to revoke Robertson’s release order and issue an arrest warrant for violating his pretrial release terms a second time.

“Because the defendant has shown utter disregard for the Court’s orders prohibiting his possession of firearms and other weapons during the time he has been on pretrial release, and because he has further flouted his release conditions through repeated violations of the federal firearms laws, the defendant presents a danger to the community that no release conditions will adequately mitigate,” Assistant U.S. Attorneys Elizabeth Ann Aloi and Risa Berkower wrote in a motion filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court in Washington.

Nearly six months after the U.S. Capitol riot, the Justice Department has begun arresting a new category of alleged criminals — those who attacked reporters or damaged their equipment as journalists documented the violence perpetrated by supporters of President Donald Trump.

The first such charge came last week, when 43-year-old Shane Jason Woods of Illinois was charged with engaging in violence on the Capitol grounds Jan. 6, as well as assaulting a law enforcement officer. Authorities say Woods was caught on video knocking down a cameraman.

The arrests come at a contentious moment for the Justice Department and First Amendment advocates, who have sharply criticized federal law enforcement for secretly issuing subpoenas of reporters’ phone records during the Trump administration.

The new attorney general, Merrick Garland, has ordered the drafting of new rules for prosecutors when trying to identify who may have leaked classified information, but critics of the long-standing Justice Department policy say it should not have taken another set of controversial subpoenas for law enforcement officials to stop using such secretive measures to hunt for reporters’ sources.

Amid that ongoing tension, the Justice Department has begun arresting some of those who allegedly surrounded a group of reporters outside the Capitol, ran them off and then set out to destroy tens of thousands of dollars worth of their gear.

Press freedom advocates on Saturday were encouraged by news that the U.S. Department of Justice has begun making arrests related to attacks on journalists at the Capitol on January 6, when hundreds of supporters of former President Donald Trump violently breached security measures to try to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election results.

In addition to attacking some members of the Capitol Police—including one who later died of his injuries—and stalking lawmakers, some of those who attempted the insurrection targeted members of the media by damaging their equipment, assaulting them, and trying to chase them away from the Capitol.

Starting last week, the Washington Post reported Saturday, the FBI began arresting people who were violent towards journalists during the riot and who prevented them from reporting at the scene. At least five people have been charged so far, and authorities expect more arrests.

"The vilification of the media that we saw from the previous administration was incredibly concerning, and that played into a longer arc of rising anti-press sentiment across the country," Katherine Jacobsen, a researcher at the Committee to Protect Journalists, told the Post. "January 6 showed that what the administration says about the media does matter, words do matter, and can have very negative, very real [impacts] on reporters and their ability to do their jobs safely."

Advocates began calling for those who targeted journalists at the Capitol to be held to account shortly after the attack.

"The violence displayed toward the media during the assault on the United States Capitol has no place in a democracy," said Carlos Martinez de la Sern, a program director at the Committee to Protect Journalists, two days after the riot. "Individuals who threatened and assaulted journalists must be held accountable for their actions."
