Fawnie takes Asheville by Storm

Our dear, irrepressible Fawnie has only been in town 2 days, and

is going to do a Poetry reading at a local nightspot-

she's decided to read "Straight Lies" and possibly, depending on

the response and the conditions of her nerves and stomach,

follow up with "Tara, Please".

Afterwards, she will be elected mayor, and a statue of her will be

erected in the city/county plaza.

I'm sure she'll let you all know how it turns out- men are not

allowed at this Down and Dirty poetry slam- right now she's in

the bathroom- "getting ready".

i was a hit..i got invited back to read again for the next one and also told about another reading about an hour away that takes place once a month they want me to come read for.

ok, there was a lot of good poetry there tonight but at the end of the night there was maybe 1 writer that i felt was actually better then me or just as good..i knew i was a hit when she come up and let me know i had it.

omg... i had so much fun, and the energy after the 1st read.."straight lies", brought about much laughter and a great deal of applause and hollering.

the directer of the reading commented afterword that i'd have no trouble meeting women after my time at the mic..shit, i had women coming up to me while the next read was happening..how rude!!!

tara..you should of heard the response to "tara please"..i had built up some energy by that point and my nervousness was gone so the ladies were hollering. you'd have been proud you saucy sassy little bleep

you know, i haven't had a lover in my life since i've had all the instruction from you lovely poets so i don't have a lot of erotica to share...this night was down and dirty no doubt and if i'm going to read again in another month, i need some inspiration..which is kind of hard when you really don't have someone in your life to inspire such words .

ok, so my drunken ramble has a point, i need some inspiration

lmao..all playing aside, i had a great time, and i'm totally in love with this little town hidden away in the smoky mountains.

they have culture, arts, and best of all i saw more lesbians tonight all in the same place then i've seen in 2 years..and i was adored by many..what could be more fun..

oh, then after my time with the girls, i went and listened to a jazz band with tungtied that was better then anything thing i've heard live in a long time..the energy that was there was incredible. and we drew a couple females that spent the evening entertaining us with their own bit of chemistry.. haha ..am i home?? ty hurricane charlie for redirecting my steps..i think i found myself a home
