He's not? Some people might disagree, instead insisting that every third person out here is an LC alt.Yay, done and sent. You can send the winnings to the email stored in my Lit user profile
Since LC isn't participating, the honorable mention for "darkest story" will be MINE!!!!! bwahahaha...

The cutoff time is tomorrow (Tuesday) at midnight CMT. Give or take.

We now have eighteen submissions, and I think a couple more, at least, are on the way. This will be the biggest FAWC yet.
I'm coming down the homestretch.
Not so beautiful here. Damn thunderstorm keeps knocking out my Internet.![]()
Cool, damp, and overcast. Yuck.
We have the threat of t-storms just about all week, and I fear it will postpone PennBoy's baseball game (set for tomorrow) yet again. Ah well.
I'm still trying to finish mine. It's just not behaving, dammit!

Man, this week's going to be like Story Christmas. Ok, ok. Since I'm getting a bunch of packages and they've all got books and handkerchiefs in them, I suppose it's more like Story Hanukkah.
So, how does feedback go on these? Is the comments section of each story the best place to put that, or is it better as a forum post? Does it post to this thread?
I know I'll be circling the comments page of mine like a famished vulture.
The last FAWC was the first time I left comments on all of the stories in the comments section. I'm glad I did, because I felt like the "discussion time" in this thread was cut a little short before a lot of people had a chance to chime in. But of course I left a comment on my own story so it wouldn't be obvious which one was mine.
I'm hoping this time around, since there will be so many stories, we can give it some time for discussion here, before everyone starts talking about where they want their stories to go and dismantling the FAWC page. Just my two cents.
