Because I'm fairly lightweight when it comes to discussions............long pause while I wait for all the snorts and laughter and jokes to be passed around concerning the word 'lightweight'...........and because I hadn't started a thread for a while, but mainly because I love the things, and they can make me laugh when nothing else can, I decided to start a thread that consists solely of smilies.

For those newbies who haven't found their way there yet.......this is the site I use: Addis-welt smilies

I'm going to start it off with this one I found by accident a short while ago - no idea why it appeals, it just does.

Isn't it strange how, we use this technique quite easily in our everyday conversations......but when I try and deliberately try to think of one......my mind goes as blank as .......................see?! I can't even think of one to put in there! :(

SJ, just go to the site I put in the first post.
Select a category, view the smilies, click on the one you want,then go to the top of the page, and copy the direction and simply paste that in...essage. Go for it. Have a go. Mat :rose:
