Favourite Procrastination Tools?

And I've lost count of how many games of Solitaire I've played. If only I actually won all the money it says I have.

I went through a bout of being obsessed with Mahjong, luckily I sought the help I needed. I'm out the other side of the cold turkey phase now, though. I just write instead. Much more productive.

You see, I managed to switch my thinking around. I think of writing as a procastination tool, which prevents me from playing Mahjong. Oh, but those tiles, I miss those pretty tiles... Must... resist.

Lou ;)

P.S. I'm waving my hand in the air. Love those naked eyes, P.

One of my favourite procrastination tools is to visit raphy's thread and stare at his butt...:D

4 days away from writing NaNo and I'm now catching up with threads instead of writing.

I think it's just to get the fingers working, but it could be the big P...

*wiggles for 'flicka*

raphy's butt wiggling reminds me of a joke...

"I was out with my girlfriends, and we went to this club, and they had male striptease on stage. Me and my girlfriends got us a table near the stage, and hooted and whistled at all the cuties that performed.

Then this one stipper started dancing right in front of us, and one of my girlfriends got up and put a $5-bill inside his G-string.
Anoter of my friends got up and put a $10-bill inside his G-string. When my third friend saw this, she got up and placed a $20-bill inside his G-string, that was now full of money(it was a very small G-string).

Then they all looked at me, expectantly, and the male stripper turned around and wiggled his ass in front of me, suggestingly.

Well, what could I do? I got out my credit card, pulled it down his crack, collected the change that my girlfriends had left, and went home."

So did you see the shot on my thread of my short hair, flicka?

That reminds me of the old, pre-"Carry on Gang" Movie, "Twice Around the Daffodils."

At the end (of the movie) a very demanding hospital patient is having his anal temperature taken.

A visiting doctor enters the room and demands to know what the heck is going on.

"Have you never seen a man have his temperature taken before?" demanded the patient, irascibly.

"Well, yes," the doctor responded, "but never with a daffodil."

Oooh, it's BACK! Drat, and I just deleted the file where I kept all my old passwords in... Raphy, how far did you get? I think I cleared up through level 26.

Ah, CounterStrike, how I remember thee. I think my college has blocked the ports that CS and TFC use, though, because I haven't been able to find a Team Fortress game for several days. Instead: Windows games. Spider Solitaire, Freecell, Mahjongg, and, most recently, I've started to get back into Unreal Tournament again. Mostly because my NaNoWriMo novel (the new idea, not the one with the robots) draws a lot of inspiration FROM UT. *heehee* My female lead is a Necris Blademaiden. Someone shoot me, I'm practically producing fanfic. :D

[EDIT] Okay, NOT Level 26, 'cause there's only 25 of 'em. Gah. It's been a while.

LOOK! I am here to procrastinate too!!!

Actually, I am very bad for having a min. of 8 projects running at any given time. When I get sick of a project it becomes a chore, and then I try to find a new project as an excuse not to do the first one... it's a never ending battle.

My husband asked me if there would come a day when he could find the office and bedroom under all my "half completed projects". I assured him that one day, he would end be able to walk in these rooms (I fully intend to make a project of refinishing the basement :) ).

I have to admit though, I hate to clean the house and I hate to go shopping. Both I put off as much as I can get away with. The writing, I just start a new story and another one and another one and another one, and eventually I have completed projects.

(But, yes if I am on the boards... I am usually procrastinating :( )

I am soooo sad
(and still procrasinating- and now I can't spell, I might have to take extra time to look up that word)

I tool the Monty Python quiz... I am the black knight, so my husband said "well try it again, only change answers you thought you might have wanted to answer differently".

I got the same one. Now he thinks it is soooo funny, and says it fits me perfectly.

I do not think that today's procrasinating was very rewarding.

:(

Oh, I finished it, took me about a week or so of pure procrastination and doing absolutely zero work in the office. I don't have the passwords, but I do have screenshots of all the completed levels.

I just took the Monty Python quiz, and I'm Sir Lancelot! This is what it said:

"A vicious and blood thirsty knight, you will kill anything to look good. You're also very sneaky and very clever. No one likes to have you as a wedding guest. Despite all this, you're a good friend who saves people from 'certain temptation'."

"Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who!" :D

Raphy and CWatson, I remember playing that lasar game about a year ago. I got up to level 21, then got bored with it, not sure what I've done with the passwords. It's a very good, brain taxing game, it kept me amused for hours.

Sat here watching my hubby play CS on his PC as I type, must go and do something more constructive. ;)

Y'know, I've never gotten along with counterstrike.

Definitely prefer Unreal Tournament. Rocket launchers and laser guns, that's my kind of mindless destruction, hehe

I'm the same, Raph. I've never been inclined to play CS, although Adam is addicted. But, I have played quite a bit of UT in my time. I've never manged to beat him, though. My favourite is 'Capture the Flag', which I often do, unless I get blasted as I leg it back.
