I just wanted to know who your favorite lit author is. I don't read on the lit that much unless it's an author I already like of and l see that they have a new story or poem. I'm asking here because I figure I'll get a bit of variation

Please

1) state the author

2) The Category they are in

Also if you have a fav story and please feel free to include that.

pS: Shameless self promotion is not only accepted it's expected but please include another author too:)

pPs: Remember the poets:D

One of my favorite authours on the lit is Couture

generally writes f/f or bdsm some m/f no vanilla fem/dom undercurrents all around :D

Couture

Of all the poets erotic and non I enjoy perdita the most. The lady's got a way with words. Also If you haven't read at least one of the elevator girl stories your missing out. ;) good stuff

Perdita

Regards D21

pS. you can read my stories anytime too lol they don't turn me on but whatever. The bitch chp 1-4 even managed to get and keep those little h's. In anycase reunion is the story I like most out of my stories. If anyone wants a mindless rant visit my poetry:rolleyes:

Okay, no one feel offended if I don't mention you...'cause I'm only going to mention one person. Or two. Or more. We'll see.

Tatewaki always catches my attention. Although he doesn't post on Literotica anymore, he'll always be one of my favorite authors.

sweetsubsarahh Always makes me tingle. I've enjoyed every story she's written, and I keep my eyes open for new ones.

Jigs is one of the first authors I read on this site, and I always like his stories.

Chicklet

Since Chicklet won't shamelessy promote herself (rebel that she is) I will.
I've only read her twins revenge series but it was HOT.
So read it :D

also aside from writing she's one of the most sarcastic people I've ever "met" (which is a compliment)

Chicklet

Shameless promotion over

Damn. To gave a good answer, I'd have to read all of them all over again Excuse me...

No can do. But I'll have to agree with Chicklet. Tatewaki's work is excellent.

I happen to like Spicey Angel.
It's hard to pick a favorite. I guess I would have to recommend at least two: Change of Heart (2 parts) and Tale of Two Sluts.
She's mostly into couplings, group, and mature. Her last one is a first attempt at GG. She wants to be a romance author and she tends to have happy endings (and if you've read my drivel in the forums you'll know I like that). Angel led me here with her encouragement about writing.

Another great help to me has been cahab. I found her through the editors program here and she has been very helpful. She does group and little bit of almost everything else. Take a look at A Shopping Trip.

Since coming here, I too have become a fan of:
Destinie21.
I like the way she makes her stories come alive. Can't pick yet, till I read all of them, but I really like what I've read.

And of course,
Perdita.
It's her poetry I like, especially Russian Mists.

I am trying to read something from everyone I run into here, so my list of fav's is sure to get bigger.

As for the shamless self-promotion (is there any other?), I'd like to recommend my All Man Rickman.

As for another person's story, I recommend the 5 chapters about Wesley's Woman, by Deliciously Naughty.

One of my favourite authors is, without a doubt, JUDO. It's a shame she hasn't been posting hardly any new stories this year, but she's one of the more versatile writers I know. I particularly recommend: After Midnight on the Red Line (Erotic Couplings); Cumming Camp Councelors (First time, although with amazing masturbation, exhibition-&voyeurism, and group scenes); Memoirs of a Lady Ch. 10 (Chain Stories, one of the best ever); Talisman Ch. 5: Victoria Grace Tilden (Chain Stories).

More recently, I totally fell in love with MlledeLaPlumeBleu's stories. They're not only hot, but they're also intelligent. 1984 could easily the best story I've read on this site. The Blue-Dark Bayou series come close.

With regard to poetry, some of my favourite authors have decided to remove most of their works from Lit in the last weeks, but for a good cause. Eve is one of them, Angeline is another. I'm also a fan of smithpeter (also here) and Cordelia, just to name a few.

Of course I kick all their asses.

I've picked a few favorite stories and authors, apologies to those not mentioned. Yes, some of these people are special friends, but I read and enjoyed their work before I came to know them.

Since these are mentioned above I'll only add that I love Mlle's Bayou stories, Lauren H.'s poetry, and Cahab's work.

The links below are to the author pages but I've noted my favorite stories. I haven't noted categories as the writing stands well without being pegged that way. I only judge by the writing.

Across the Street and Hot as July
Gauche

Best Lil’ Whorehouse in Middle Earth
Svenska

Donna, This Girl Still Haunts Me
Pops

Faeophobia: Sarah Meets Satyr
Earl

Not What You See, What You Feel
English Lady

p.s. thank you to those who mentioned me above.

Meaty writing...

I am shamelessly in love with ronde's writing. He writes romance and mature.

Laura's Vineyard is one of the finest short stories I have ever read.

:rose: b

thak you to all who have posted I would probably never have come across some f the authors mentioned w/o the posts:D
BK you were oh so right about Laura's Vineyard

I think I've read stuff from most of the writers that post on this thread. Although it may not be my type of story, I have yet to find a "bad" writer. And it seems that we all have very different styles. I think that is most prevalent among the poetry submissions.

I have to agree in regards to Chicklet.

I have read bits and pieces of a lot of peoples work and have found some very fine stories and poems but Chicklet came immediately to mind.

Oh yeah?

Well you guys will cream in your jeans over Eva- um, Lauren Hynde's "Plastic Love"- if she ever finishes it!!

Seriously. Brilliant writing. I got to peek :)

And I'm not just saying that because she's my torrid intellectual lover.

Perdita's poetry, duh, but her Callas piece resonates with me as a prima diva; she captures the intangible- the essence of La Divina. *sigh*

Anything by J. Finn pretty much kicks rock solid ass. The woman has a deathgrip on a pencil and wields it with intent.

*kitty wiggles*

Coolville is about as good as they come. He writes in several different categories and will take you places you've never been.
