...a movie. Be it odd or one that just made you go "Wow, wasn't expecting that!" or "Hmmm?"

Two come to mind, both Charleton Heston movies:

1. Planet of the Apes - once "bright eyes" finds the Statue of Liberty and comes to the realization that he's not on another planet but has been on Earth all along.

2. Omega Man - Heston has produced enough serum to save the survivors and then is killed in the fountain. He's lying there spread out like Christ on the cross (lots of imagery there)

i watched "joy ride" at the theatre but didnt like the ending. I rented it yesterday on dvd, and liked one of the alternate endings better.....

I think the ending of Saving Private Ryan is one that came outta right field

Fight Club blew me away (literally) and had to see it again immediately. That's when I realized how brilliant it was....
