Fantasy First Dates

Through a futon mattress in the back of the truck, a nice picnic of maybe cheese, crackers, cherries, strawberries, chocolate and a cold bottle of wine. Drive out to the country where you can only see the moon n stars, climb in the back of the truck, cuddle with blankets, snacking and getting to know each other. :rose:

Really?

I could see doing that sometime, maybe frequently, but there's an awful lot that could go wrong and if it did on the first date...

Like: You have a flat tire on the truck 46 miles from nowhere and you suddenly realize that the spare is in your garage.

Like: Bugs

Like: Rattlesnakes

Like: It rains

Maybe I worry too much. :D

Hmmm......

My fantasy first date starts off in the late morning. We drive up to the California coast, and explore the Redwood National Park, taking silly pictures of one another. We then head on over to Fern Canyon, where we eat a picnic lunch and go hiking. Finally, as the sun is setting, we go to the beach, where we spread out a blanket and appreciate each other's company and conversation as we watch the stars come out.

Yes. I can imagine that; the cool, fresh air; scent of cedar...

But what happens after the stars come out?

What if it's too far and too late to drive home? Or maybe you just don't want to? :D

Ok maybe 2nd date, and yes you worry too much. Go check the place out first if your worried about it.
Have you never played in the rain, danced naked in a warm rain shower.?

They have spray for bugs.

Actually, I did that just this morning. I did not have company though. And I did it mostly for the purpose of putting some fertilizer on my okra plants. :D

The following thread, "What do you miss most about dating," indicates that many people miss the nervous excitement, the mystery, the heady anticipation resulting in faint nausea and frequent urination, etc.

So one wouldn't want to be too matter-of-fact about it and miss out on one of the good parts.

Although I don't think that will be a problem. :D

Vegas.

Meet somewhere for lunch on the Strip, and then decide where to go from there. With all of the various gaming, shopping, and show options running the gamut from interesting to titillating and should accommodate whatever mood we'd find ourselves in.

And if the mood happens to be a private one, well... we've got two hotel rooms to play in, now don't we?

Good idea. I don't think most of the casinos are so horribly noisy anymore either.

And whatever you might need is readily available as long as you have a credit card. ;)

Jamaica... Bora bora... some place where we could lounge or explore all day, have fruity drinks, explore a little closer into the night.

Or, on the contrary, a cabin with a wood fire we could cozy next to after hiking and chopping wood for a spell.

Both enchanting scenes. Sigh. ;)
