"Fate wants closure on what happened to her, so she wants to talk to Flish. Once that happens, everything will be better. Edioz will take care of her, and Hallowbrook will make sure nothing happens. In the meantime, I need to turn you into a gentleman!" Al'ika was getting upset, all over nothing. She took a deep breath and calmed down. "That sounds good?"

"Soon. I'm. . . having difficulties," Al'ika said, not wishing to mention the rats again. "When I'm better, we will start, alright? In the meantime, watch Issak. But don't ACT like you're watching him. Okay?" Her eyes were soft and caring, but held back her fear and stress.

"Why? Issak wants to go with your plan." he said. "I can tell when he lies and I think he respect Hallowbrook enough not to interfere with his plans."

Al'ika sighed and she shook her head. "Not 'watch him because he's a basket case' watch," she groaned. "Observe his behavior. He's a gentleman, and we both know it. I'm not saying SPY on him while he's with a girl, I'll smack your ass with a spoon if you do that. No, observe him. Watch how he interacts with girls in public. THEN we can move onto the bedroom, okay?"

"Just a spoon?" he joked, but got more serious when he saw her expression shift. "Ok, i'll watch him." he said, heading back in.

Al'ika brought him back and kissed him gently. "And be patient. A patient man is a gentle man." She led the way back in and she snuggled up to her other brother and Keth. "All settled," she said mysteriously, kissing both of their cheeks.

Keth was a few drinks in when she came back in, and Issak was tipsy from trying to keep up. "What's settled?" he slurred, "My little brother finally growing up? i walked in on him trying to plan a house."

Al'ika smiled and kissed her brother. "He might be, but you leave him alone," she told him, gently admonishing him. "One day, you'll grow up too." She looked up at Keth. " Are you being a bad influence on my brother?" she teased.

Al'ika shook her head and kissed him. "You're drunk," she teased softly. She ordered a mead for her and she drank it slowly, enjoying the company.

"Pretty human just wants to take care of you," Al'ika told him gently, kissing his cheek. "She doesn't want you to be sick."

Keth drank a lot more water and wandered outside. he came back and said, "I feel better. gave back lots of beer.

"See?" she teased. She had had a few more drinks, but was holding her liquor a lot better than her brothers and lover. "Let's go home," she said. She kissed Issak and Jep good bye and squeezed Keth's hand. She didn't realize how tired she was until she stood.

Keth stumbled home with Al'ika, flopping on the bed when they got in. "Human beer different from orc brew," he stuttered.

Al'ika smiled. "You just rest now," she said. "I'll be right here, sleeping next to you until morning, okay?" she asked. She gently slid in next to him and snuggled up to him.

Keth got up the next morning with a headache like no other. He made eggs and bacon so he could have as much grease as possible.

Al'ika woke up to the smell of bacon and she sat up, smiling. "How are you feeling?" she asked softly, gently nudging him out of the way and taking over the cooking.
