Al'ika shrugged. "Find out information, then kill them. Or just kill them. Your choice." She looked at Issak. "Could you use your magic to help? Mine is. . . on hold for right now."

Issak thought or a minute and then looked around, thinking something was off. "Where's Jep?" he asked. They looked around and saw him slipping into one of the tents. No one had seen him yet.

"I have no idea," said Issak, "But it better be useful," An orc started walking towards the tent. It stopped to sniff the air.

the orc went into the tent, and they heard it collapse. From the sound of it, the orcs chalked it up to too much drink and went about their business. Jep weaseled his way back out and handed Al'ika a scroll. "Found why they're out," he said. "You won't like it."

Al'ika raised her eyebrow. "Back to camp we go, now," she said, not liking the tone in Jep's voice.

Once they were back at camp, she held up the scroll. "I don't want to read what's in here. What is it?"

"Well it's in orcish and a couple of names come up, but beyond that I'm clueless," he said. "I see yours, Keth's and I'eie's."

Al'ika groaned. "Probably plans on how to get us back," she said opening up the scroll. "This is beyond my abilities," she confessed. "I speak Orcish better than I can read it. Keth, please?" she asked.

"Keth wanted for death, I'eie to be returned unharmed, Al'ika for dungeons or dead," he said. Ashglow signed it."

"Of course, I'm resorted to the dungeons OR death, love how Ashglow couldn't make up his mind," Al'ika said, hugging Keth. "We need to continue. Now. We won't be safe until we're inside the village."

They marched through the night and built another hidden camp just before dawn. It was another day's march before home and that was if nothing happened in between.

"Alright, someone take watch, who's feeling strong?" Al'ika asked. "Whoever it is, wake us up in 2 hours or at any signs of trouble."

Keth took watch since a random orc would attract less attention. Everyone else stayed in one shelter so they could lessen the camp's area.

Al'ika passed out the moment she laid down. The past day had been exhausting for her, but she didn't want to stop. She wanted to keep going.

I two hours, Keth came back and said, "Who's next? Not you," he said as Al'ika sat up. Jep said, I'll go. I need to make up for sneaking off like that," and he was gone.

Issak cut in. "Because you've just been magic drained and then took a force march, that's why. This is no time to be stubborn."

Al'ika had woken up, but Issak was already out. "Is it my turn once he's done?" she asked. "I'm not four anymore, you know." She was slightly cross.

"I know you're not four, but i've had an easier time getting Issak to shave than getting you to admit you're hurt," Jep said. "Just get a few more hours' sleep and we'll eat and be home by morning."
