"Let me know when you feel it," he said, handing her some drink and her clothes. "Don't dress until you do."

Al'ika nodded and rested for a bit, before a warmth, like a fire, spread throughout her body. Her body shook slightly, and she gave a soft whimper, and she sat up, letting it engulf her.

"Let it take you," said Jester, guiding her through it. "It may change sensations based on what it finds in you."

Al'ika soon felt ice spread throughout her veins, quenching the fire with in, and she shivered a little bit from the cold inside of her body. Her body still shook, but it was at a slower pace then it had with the fire.

Eventually, the magic finished coursing through her, and she collapsed on the bed, breathing heavily.

"First a fire. . . it was engulfing me in warmth and pleasure. . . then ice. . . coursing through my veins, making me cold, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It was pleasurable. . ." Al'ika gave a soft sigh of contentment.

"The warm was expected, but the cold means you have to figure out where your heart feels safe," he said. "You won't be able to do more than the basics until you master yourself." He handed her the book. "Rest a bit and I'll walk you back."

Al'ika smiled. "You think I walked here?" she asked, amused. "I teleported." She closed her eyes and rested a little bit, holding the book to her.

Al'ika chuckled. "Yeah. . . don't want Issak to carry me. . . Or Jep. . . Or Keth. . . Need to be in fightin' shape. . . "

Once she felt rested, she dressed carefully, her body aching. "I didn't realize it was going to cause my body to be sore," she said, wincing as she strapped on her breastplate.

Jester looked her over. Her neck was covered in marks from his affections. "Let's go when you're ready," he said.

The sky had just begun to turn purple when Jester took her back to the camp. All three men were sitting up and on guard. Jep and Keth drew on Jester, but when they saw Al'ika they stood down. Issak ran up to her. "Are you crazy? It took me forever to find your sign!"

"How could it take forever?" Al'ika snapped. "It was in the usual place, with the usual signs marking it! Have you gotten more dense?" She looked at Jester and smiled. "Wrong brother. Oh well. Anyways, thank you. I'm sure I'll see you in the future?"

"I don't doubt it," he said, bowing to Keth knowingly. "I take my leave." he disappeared into the morning mist. Jep looked at her neck and asked, "what happened? I didn't think you liked older guys."

Al'ika brushed her hair over her marks. "He's my instructor, Jep." She said shortly. "In the Blue Magic. He was Isep's instructor and now he is mine. That's all it is. Are we ready to go?" she asked.

Issak blinked. "Wait, that was Jester?" he asked. "He hasn't taken a new apprentice in five years. We'd better let you eat and tell us what happened."

Al'ika rolled her eyes and sat down. She told her tale while she ate, occasionally answering one of the men's questions. "Now that I've eaten AND told you my tale, can we leave now?" she asked.

"Now that we know you're safe, sure," snapped Issak, still mad. He threw his pack on and stomped off down the path. Keth looked relieved, and Jep just wanted to calm his brother down now that he knew Al'ika was safe.

Al'ika rolled her eyes and began to set down on the path, after Jep and Issak.

They stopped at around midday, and Al'ika set off the moment she finished her bread and drank some water, shoving Issak out of the way. She didn't hear anyone asking her to calm down, she just continued walking.

At the next stop, Keth sat down behind her and held her. "Keth glad you safe," he said, kissing her neck.
