Al'ika chuckled. "Issak and Jep- they call themselves my brothers. They really aren't. . . childhood friends. . . Issak was my first. Jorr and Edioz could tell you stories about us when we were children. . ." she breathed heavily. "Jep's used to doing this to me, but he's never left me like that before. . . Think I'm going to shove a practice sword up his ass. . ."

Keth smiled a little. "He make sure you safe. He stand outside and not let anyone in but me, like he said." Keth explained. "He said he would have stayed but wanted to surprise you with me."

Al'ika gave a sleepy smile. "Good. He's still not getting away with it," she chuckled. "Issak's gentler. It's a good balance." She stretched for a moment. "Where's Isep?"

"Waiting until you're done your little fun session,' Isep said, walking through the doorway blanket. "I've never seen Jep so adamant about keeping me out of somewhere." She pored three meads and handed them out. Then, she handed a small package to Al'ika. "Here are the herbs you needed. I hope I'eie gets better soon."

"Thank you, Isep," Al'ika said, with a smile, securely stashing the herbs in her pack. "And, well, you know Jep. About as stubborn as I am." She sipped her mead. She sat up a little bit and held her mug. She looked up at Keth. "Keth, could you talk to Issak and Jep for a little bit, please? I know they would like to meet and talk to you," she asked quietly. "I want to ask Isep. . . a personal question."

Keth stood and dressed, kissing Al'ika before he left. "Whe he was gone, Isep looked at her and said, "What do you need my advice for? You know I'm trouble all around."

"As am I," Al'ika said with a smile. "It's more of. . . a female question. Well, there's a couple of them." She took a deep breath. "The magic, making me whole. . . does that render me infertile?" she asked softly.

"No, it doesn't," said Isep. "It just let yo ufeel like it was your first time again. I'd offer it to you to share with Keth but that seems like bad idea."

Al'ika chuckled and smiled. "Okay, so good. . . anyways, also, making me whole again. . . Is there a way so I don't have to make a trek up here so often to continue to make that again?"

"Sure, liberate the village so they control their supply again," she said. "Once you have your friend safe, I'm sure we can find you help to do it."

Al'ika thought for a bit. "I need to know everything that's going on, and I want to have Edioz at my side," she said quietly. "It might be a bit, I know the Father wants me to take some time, and I think Jep and Issak do as well. They have the full story."

"Ok, that's fine, but what's the other female problem? or are there more than two?' she asked, taking a large drink from her mug.

Al'ika smiled shyly. "I'm just. . . I don't know, confused is a fantastic way to put it," she admitted softly. "About. . . men."

Al'ika sighed. "You know how much I enjoy Jep and Issak. Especially Issak. And by enjoy, I mean love. But I'm also developing feelings for Keth and it's making my mind swirl. They all give me something that I don't get with the others, and. . . and. . ." She took a breath. "Everyone just tells me to do what feels natural, but what feels natural is. . . well, not there, unless you count fucking all of them."

Al'ika shrugged. "I'm not sure. I know Jep wants children, but, I'm not sure if I do. . . " She buried her face in her hands. "But I'm not sure if Issak would ever take me back, after I broke his heart for that turncoat, Flish. . . and I'm not sure what Keth wants, he has two children to raise."

"Explain how each of them feel about you, and how you feel about them, discounting sex," she said. "It's a part of the meal, not the full course.

"I know all of them care about me," Al'ika said. "And I care about them. Jep and I have an unusual relationship, due to his nature, but I'm not sure if I want that anymore. I mean, I know he'll always stop if I seem to shut down, and I shut down on him completely last night, and I don't like that. . . Issak always makes me feel safe and relaxed. . . Keth. . . he's something different. He's so human. . . and he's sweet and gentle. . . but. . ." she breathed in deeply. "I don't know, Isep. . . I don't even know why I'm worrying about it now. . ."

"At least Brom isn't getting into this," Isep laughed."He told me he just wanted to go back to a regular village again. I'm sure he;ll find someone. And from the sound of it, Keth's kids are old enough to be out on their own, so I don't think that will be an issue," she said. "Drink, you'll feel better."

Al'ika chuckled and took a huge drink. "Yeah. . . he's a good boy, he'll find a woman." She gave a shy smile. "Thanks, Isep. I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention it to the men outside. . ." She sighed. "I know I have to make a decision, I just dread making said decision."

"I'd go with Keth personally," Isep said, standing to leave. "He makes you happy, you two have a fresh start, and if you want, you can explore anything you've done with the trouble brothers again with him. Besides, you already have him moved in," she said. "Good night, and don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"As I told Issak, that's not much," Al'ika laughed. "You can send all three of them in, actually." She wanted her friends nearby. "And thanks again, Isep."

Keth came back i, followed by the brothers. "Does this mean we're all going in he morning?" Issak asked. "We want to make sure the herbs get to Hallowbrook."

"Yes, it does, Issak," Al'ika said with a smile. She looked at Jep and pointed to a corner of the cave. "Corner. Now." she said, making her way over to them. "Need to talk to you."

When they got over, she resisted the urge to slap him. "Jep, while I appreciate what you did, you scared the living shit out of me," she said quietly. "I know it was in a safe environment and you were keeping me safe. But I was still scared, I had no idea what was going on."
