I'm going to a fancy dress party, where the theme is superheroes. I need help, and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Things to bear in mind:

1. As it's only for one night, I don't want anything elaborate that's going to cost a bomb.
2. I want to be someone sexy, rather than a clutz.
3. Nothing white, because it'll get dirty in seconds.
4. Nothing too girlie - in other words, no pink frills or ribbons.

Does anyone out there have any ideas? :rose:

BWahahahah!

Anything in a slick spandex one color works. And a mask.

Anything with a short skirt and a bustier works. And a mask.

Anything with tights works. And a mask.

Heck, you can carry a super soaker and handcuffs, wear a tight t-shirt and jeans, and good boots, and you're a superhero. You just need the right hat and a mask.

I'll get ambitious and make some pictures of my City of Heroes characters (a superhero game) and you can get all inspired....

You can always go as a vampire. All you'd need is a cape and sexy makeup and shoes. ;)

Oops, I forgot the superhero part. Well, keep the above and add some shoepolish and you can go as Blade!

I don't know if I'd like wearing spandex... Isn't that the stuff that catches in everything?

Second question, what's a bustier? Does it make you bustier? If so, I'll get two.

I have the supersoaker and handcuffs - just never considered using them for this particular purpose... Still, always useful to have a set of handcuffs on you

So who can I be????

Other than saying rent one? One might get away with a Trinity look or a Kate Beckinsale look from Underworld. Doctor Who is a superhero, no? :D - lol - okay - lets see. A superheroine consists of strength, why not use an array of your own personality and clothes as a tool of superheroineship that you think might be powerful?

Um, Austin powers had FEMBOTS, and even if they were villians? You could still recreate it to your pleasure. :D Something humourous that I might do is attach a toy gun to my pussy - it would certainly get people talking at a party like that! :D If you teach, then perhaps you should think about the superpower of a book and how you might incorporate it into a costume? In all cases, I hope you have FUN!

I don't know if it's that kind of party, Charley... It would definitely get people talking, though - for several years afterwards

Excellent ideas! Thanks! :rose:

Make up a superhero rather than going as one from a comic book

Mixed Metaphor Maid? Able to stun plaguarists with tortured and twisted similes?

and

although the selection goes far, FAR beyond this. A nice leather one could keep you and your man entertained for YEARS.

If you really want to have some fun, go as an *URBAN* superhero. It's the hip new thing (no spandex!), cool, sexy, comfortable and baaaaad lookin'!

Urban Superheroes include Blade (and company):

The Matrix:

And, yes, Buffy (I happen to be fond of Faith, myself....so here she is)

Hellboy also:

Note that black colors, jackets (leather or jean or just raincoat length), sunglasses, etc. are the norm here. You can also go "formal" (a tie) or informal (sexy top). Let us know what you finally come up with!

Man????????? Where???? Tell me so I can hide? I must have experienced amnesia over this little development in my sexuality...

Easy - a pair of tights, bikini briefs in contrasting color worn over, a tight long sleeve shirt, preferably with some mysterious logo or symbol, a cape (towel worked when I was kid but you probably want something more stylish). A mask is optional and never hurts. Maybe some kind or tiara or something cool for your hair.

Or Buffy! :D Except that's not much of a costume.

I think I like the idea of urban. I'm sure spandex would make me scratch all night, and I'd probably end up with so many ladders, you'd be able to rent me out to the fire brigade.

Thank you 3113 :rose:

LOL - even if it were a corporate party I'd do it and let them remember me, but I am a devil. I think you should go with your comfort zone. What did you have in mind, other than your initial post of what you did not have in mind?

EDIT TO ADD: By this I mean, maybe we can help build on something you had in mind :) :rose:

Almost forgot--don't forget boots, hip-hugger trousers, belts....no urban superheroine is without such accouterments.

I don't know. I'm too tired to think

Big Brother will have to get back to you tomorrow, Charley :rose:
