Extreme category

Hey everybody,

How's it going? I'm just wondering when and if there is going to be another update of the extreme stories section, as there has not been in over a month. A few weeks ago I received an email from Laurel saying that my stories would be posted there soon, but have yet to see this or another update. Please let me know about this.

i dont think there are any lack of stories being submitted, but the editors get cold feet quickly! my story "Farm Call", which could, even should have been published in this category has been rejected, along with "When Wednesday Comes", both of which are no more violent or cruel than my multi rape and abuse story "Jills Day Out" which was published in the bndsm section. Whats going on Literotica?

Really jillbird? I hope that's not the case. I've had a few stories rejected too- this was on grounds that they were celebrity nonconsent, which Laurel has informed me could pose potential legal problems (although I was also informed by an editor that nonetheless it was "not illegal to write these things"). Hopefully Laurel has not had any trouble along these lines.

However, I am surprised that your stories were rejected. Did they involve any celebrities?

I was particularly puzzled as to the lack of updates of the extreme section because of an email I received that notified me that my story would be put up there soon (this was about a month ago). Hopefully the editors and Laurel have just been a bit busier than usual, and will update the section soon.

there was no celebrity named in my stories. my characters are all unidentifiable; i just assume that my writing was too poor or the tales too nasty, but the latter is unlikely.

Really? I am surprised at this. Have you talked with Laurel or any of the editors about this? Usually they are able to pinpoint why a story was rejected, at least from the few experiences I've had.

Like you pointed out, maybe your work has some grammatical errors or something of that sort (or spelling, etc.). If this is not the case, then I am curious as to when you submitted your stories. How recently was this? Maybe the reason(s) why your stories were rejected are connected to the lack of updates of the extreme section in over a month (just guessing here).

The extreme stories site is't automated with submission scripts like the main Literotica site is. It's a time consumingprocess to update that site, and it historically hsn't been updated more often than every two weeks -- more often every six weeks -- and it has gone as much as three months without an update. The extreme stories site is NOT high on Laurel's list of priorities so real world business workload and upkeep demands of Literotica tend to come first.

to say i am totally pissed off would be an understatement. i poseted a reply on this page and mentioned my story which has been in the bndsm section for months and, presto; my story got bounced. literotica erased it from bndsm and even removed it from my submissions list. when i asked why, i was told the story had been re-submitted to "all extreme2 because its bestiality content was unsuitable for mainstream categories!
does this mean that literotica never read it in the first place before putting it on bndsm? the donkey episode was there from the begining. now i doubt if they will ever publish it anywhere because i can only get my "milder" stories published. i wish i had never mentioned it on this thread.

That does seem upsetting. I have heard Laurel point out that she would like any stories with content that may be extreme or similar to be reported so they can be relocated to the extreme section. I suppose beasiliaty would be considered extreme? Prior to your post I had thought only nonconsensual sex (particularly with celebs) was to be relocated to the extreme section.

Of course, perhaps even further precautions are being taken, possibly including refraining from even posting stories in the extreme section. One can only speculate. Does anyone know if it has been updated or will be soon?

But certainly your experience must have been upsetting. Hopefully restrictions may one day be reduced.
