yes, in a sense, Plato 'made up' (invented, imagined, creatively crafted) his philosophy,

otoh, when he states "Aristotle said, xxxx" he does not make up the quote, xxxx.

and if he says,
"my words echo those of the poet Anaclyteus, who once said [whatever]...." he does not 'make up' the name and that there was such a poet.

but in the creative spirit, ozy, perhaps you'd agree that Wiltsworth's points perspire triangularly, and that the 'existential' philosophers are not bozoniferous, as claimed, but rather lusterless in their detumescent rationalizations.

I don't mind existential things: objects, stories, poems, movies, music, etc. It's the philosophy that disappoints and inspires both distrust and disgust at.

Magnolia and I Heart Huckabees were great movies.

Its actually more hopeful than many religions. Sad day, isn't it .

The best he could do with mine (those many months ago) was gouache. I laughed at that too.
