So, I'm not a regular here, so sometimes things confuse me.

I thought I'd start a thread for anyone who doesn't really hang out here all the time, and ask some questions when I'm confused. Maybe no one will ever open it up but me, and maybe a month from now it'll be filled with twenty of my own unanswered questions, but I still want to know.

It really is just what the word could mean.. A place a knowledge.. but all geared towards BDSM.

Times change. Style of furniture is one of the first things to change, along with clothing styles.

Actually, I have my parent's dining room table and chairs, but it is in storage. It is blonde, if any of you remember that style of wood. And, yes, it does look rather strange to me, when I remember how big and classy it looked when I was a little boy.

I hate to say it, but we all get older and our tastes change.

The library was assembled by AnelizeDarkEyes. I believe. And she has done a very good job. The library is a list and link of all threads that talk about a certain BDSM topic.

If you want to read about bondage, spanking, or maybe cutting, just go to that word on the list, and click on it. You will be taken to another list of where the thread links are.

Any time someone has had a question about something and someone else has answered that question, it's probably now linked in the library.
I know I found a few threads that have posts of mine in them. Woo Hoo. Longevity!

So, if you haven't already, give it a try. Some of your questions could be answered there.

I did, however, set up the new hyperlinked table of contents that is in place now, and continue the maintenance on it. NemoAlia stepped down earlier this year, and I took over then. Threads are added all the time to the various categories...it's an ever-growing and ever-changing work-in-progress, and frankly a labor of love. I enjoy maintaining it.

I'm an information junkie at heart. *grin*

And, just on a side note, I mentioned to Chicklet some things she could check on. One thing I mentioned was cutting. Now, I'm not at all into cutting, but because I mentioned it in my post, I looked for it, and didn't see it.

The cutting threads are actually under the category Psychology DVS, and some of them are also x-refd under Pop Culture and BDSM as well (because of the references made in the movie "The Secretary").

A little info on how threads get added just for an FYI....

As far as threads not making the Library goes....if there is an excessive amount of hijacking in the thread that pulls attention away from the original topic for several pages, I most likely will not add it to the Library if there are only say 1 or 2 pages of topic and 8 pages of hijack....it depends on the content of the topic and if there is content in the Library on the topic already. It's a judgement call. A few pages of hijacking and a few pages of great topic...and nothing in the Library? I'll add it.
