Exceptionally Average

I am not average. I am not above or below average.

What is average? I know I am not any of this.

I am EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I view myself to be as no better than, and just as capable as anyone, but above the standard average in things like appreciation for life, love, and all that jazz.

I see a lot of people float through life like a turd, but I see more now a days, being better than that.

Who knows.... let's get naked?

90%of people in the uk think they are above average
99% say they're below,

I'm with the 99% and not in the 90%.
I not only say I'm below average I know I am . (but only in most things )

shut up your rambling!!!!!!!!

Well, since you asked....

I always scored "above average" in school, my IQ is well "above average", and my friends and family think I'm the bees knees...

But, I've never thought of myself as "above average" or any kind of average. I've always thought of myself as the guy who doesn't bother showing up to take the "Who's Average and Above?" Test in the first place. In other words, I've always preferred to set my own bar, create my own standards, etc.

Sometimes I shoot for public glory, and I've both won the golden arrow and crawled home humbled. In those cases I was willing to let others define my success. A little "contest" is good for the soul.

But for the most part, my "average" is somewhere above where I'm always currently at --keeps me trying.

Well, techincally Purple, out of 100 people you could have 98 people who scored 50 on a test, and they'll all be "Average", whereas the one guy who scored 100 is "above average" and the one guy who scroed 10 is "below average".

I don't think I'm any more exceptional than anyone else. More interesting than some maybe, funnier than some, more complex than some, but certainly not more exceptional. I believe that one of the best things about getting older is realizing your shortcomings and accepting them without apology. I have a difficult time relating to people who take themselves so seriously. We've been around for thousands of years but one individual life is just a drop in the bucket. Why inflate yourself to this high status when in actuality, you'll die rendering your status totally meaningless. Being true to yourself rather than what image you're expected to portray leads to living a longer life. One without stress. :)

Basically the above paragraph can be summarized by saying "Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke" heh

ignorance is bliss, but give me knowledge & hardship. You appreciate the blissful moments a hell of a lot more.

My penis is above average.

My computer skills are below average.

My height is above average.

My typing skills are below average.

lisa thinks im pretty cool so thats good enough for me :)

also im confident in myself that i can make her happier better then anyone else ... maybe its bad that i evaluate my worth from how she thinks of me ... but thats just way i am :)

Is this some kind of new math?

Nope, it's part of that movement that has decided that self-esteem and self-worth requires only positive statments instead of morality, discipline, honesty, and hard work.

You know the same group that tells us we can only record positive comments about people, have to use politically correct speech, there are no wrong answers, and you can't allow anyone to ever fail.

I'm not average. I may be below average but I'm sure has hell not normal.

Yeah, we all know you're not normal, Always. Normal people don't lie about relatives being involved in a horrible tragedy just to gain sympathy.

average

it doesn`t really matter if you are average or not.
it only matters what you think of yourself.
in school i thought i was below average.
math i alway had a`s and b`s
english was my c`s
i guess it only matter if what we define as average is.
i rather be average that a person who thinks they are better than everone else.
i like the simple things in life.

Oops, I must need more sleep. This is the post I thought was missing from Dixon's "stupid people" thread!

I think I'm way above average in some things and way below average in others. Maybe that means it all averages out to...

being AVERAGE!

:)
