Have you ever noticed that if you tell a man he needs to get laid, generally it's not taken offensively? Even if it's said because he is uptight, but if you dare try and tell a woman the same thing she'll rip you a new asshole.

Although it's not an expression I have used often, I have recommended to both men and women that they should "go get laid".

I haven't noticed any difference in their reactions to this (they usually are in agreement!), but I think it might be the fact that we're all friends which resulted in nobody being offended.

I have told my female friends they needed to get layed and survived with my original equipment.
But I know what ya mean, it's not a pretty sight if a man made the same comment.
