It is true, that it works a lot better when I can hear his voice. Our best sessions are when I can hear his voice. It's also true that you can't make me do anything that I don't want to. There's been times where we've had issues where I've been given a command and have consciously said no. The barking thing is something that is trivial, so I don't understand why I don't do it.

I'm a bit of a submissive, so I'm more apt to give in when given a suggestion...but it's not blind. If he told me something like, for me to cut myself, or go walk out into the street naked, I would question it, hypnotized or not, and decline and tell him no.

That said, he's never given me a reason to sit up and say no because of a self-harm issue, and I sincerely doubt that he would, otherwise, I wouldn't still be allowing him to hypnotize me period. There's been times where I've questioned and said no because of social issues, or because I wasn't comfortable doing what was asked of me, but most of the time it's quite pleasant and rewarding and relaxing.

It could be as simple as associating a dog barking with an aggressive/threatening mindset that doesn't suit you.

Or you just don't like acting like a bitch.

Maybe try using different terms/imagery?

Sometimes it's all in the fine tuning.
