So, I'm currently in a house that I should've vacated 20 hours ago.

The house isn't strictly what you'd call 'landlord-inspection-clean' as yet.

In fact, it's still got some of my stuff in it.

Quite a bit of my stuff in fact.

And quite a bit of my fiancee's stuff too.

Normally, this wouldn't be too bad, as I could all-nighter to sort it out. However, I was up until 3am this morning, shifting furniture.

And I've plans to drive across to my parents' house this evening for the weekend, so I can't just collapse into bed afterwards.

Did I mention that my parents' house is 200 miles away?

And that I'm making a detour to drop my fiancee off in the same journey?

So.... how's your day going?

Evening there, Earl. Sounds like a long day. Have some coffee before you hit the road. My day's been slow. Take care.

Good luck, Earl.

My day is kinda sucky. But that has more to do with my mood rather than anything that's happened.

Earl, take care of yourself love!

My day has been great because of little things, 2k words written, shopping done, email from a great friend etc, I'm ignoring the little annoyances that sneaked in. naughty annoyances :p

Hope we'll see more of you soon...I mean around here, of course! Say hello to the nearly Mrs Earl for me :)

Hey EL. It is good to be back posting (and my day was made immeasureably better by your post in the Who thread. Appreciate the effusiveness). I've been lurking, even if I haven't had much to say and I do apologise to all those whom I've let down on correspondences. I've been busy <looks sheepish at rubbish excuse>.

Rob: What's happened to your mood?

Jomar: Mainlining Diet Coke atm and considering the possibility of a Red Bull before driving.

And, yes, I am still tidying...

Nothing serious, Earl. Lack of sleep from stress. Had to get my disability reviewed on Tuesday.

But I'm doing things to lift my mood and I'm feeling better.

<smiles> That's of the good.

Have done a little Gordian knot cutting by deciding that it's pointless driving back to parents' tonight. This then leaves me until some time tomorrow morning to get the house emptied and clean (As the landlord won't know and even if he does I may as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb).

With those extra hours bought, I now plan to waste them with an episode of Heroes.

</boring update>
