“Could America Be Next?!” – Anti-Woke Parties Dominate European Elections

1 Comment / By Shay Bottomley / June 10, 2024
The European Union’s 27 member states held concurrent elections to decide the make-up of the 720-seat European Parliament, which sits on a five-year term. The elections, held over four days from June 6 – June 9, were the first to be held since the United Kingdom left the EU.

The right-wing National Rally topped the polls in France with 31.5% of the vote, prompting President Emmanuel Macron to call a snap parliamentary election for the start of July.

In Germany, Alternative für Deutschland (Alternative for Germany) saw major gains thanks to overwhelming support in the country’s east, while Austria saw the populist Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs (Freedom Party of Austria) scored the most seats of the country’s 20-member delegation with six candidates elected.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni saw her Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy) party top the polls in the Mediterranean nation with more than 28% of the vote, while Spanish right-wing parties beat the left by more than 10% across the sea.

Things are looking bad for the Left in Europe.

You would have thought that you and Europe learned from Hitler but here you are praising it.

This isn't the right like Reagan. This is the fascist right.

No wonder you're full of adulation.

What is this 'wokespy' nonsense? It doesn't even appear on the bias rating sites. Sounds like a reboot of GatewayPundit or worse, hell it doesn't even have a Wiki page.

You don't know anything about what a Fascist is.

Anyone who declares he will be a "dictator on Day One" is a Fascist.
(That's one of the main reasons you'll be voting for him, but I digress).
How would you characterize the 17 Executive Orders Joe signed on his first day in office and the 101 he's signed since?

Ohhhhh… how many did your Orange Jesus have??

We will wait for you to look it up (give you a hint… it’s way more than Joe, wanna try your argument again? Of course you don’t).

Tell Daddy Vlady we all said hi, if you have your mouth free to speak when you see him.

We do.

Those who fought in Europe during the Second World War, they remember.

They remember people like you, cheering on Fascism and openly supporting it, goose stepping in tune, proclaiming the greatness of their country while rounding up dissenters and turning on the zyklon B.

As one who loves our veterans and what they fought for, we are once again prepared to fight against facism- against people like you.

So don't tell us "We don't know what a fascist is." We know. It is everything you preach, and everything you represent. And I think, deep down, you know this too.

And please remember, last time- YOUR SIDE LOST.

Fascism does still exist, notably in Hungary (which allied with Germany/Austria/Italy during WW2 and previously formed half of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire that caused WW1).

Anyone who flatters Viktor Orbán and puts him forward as an example (such as Tucker Carlson and Von Schitzinpants) is a fascist.

Overblown spin by the far right. The truth:

The far right gained a bit of ground, but the gains were concentrated in a few places. Social Democrats and Greens lost big, especially in Germany, while the technocratic center was crushed in France. But the net swing to the far right overall was only about 2 percent.

The bloc of center-right and center-left parties will maintain a (slightly diminished) working majority of about 407 seats in the 720-member parliament
, which means that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, a German moderate conservative in the mold of former Chancellor Angela Merkel, is likely to be re-elected.

Europe’s Decelerating Drift

That’s very concerning!!! Being a *FASCIST* and not knowing one is one and then not understanding what it is to be one.

Europe’s far right is bragging about the results of an election they didn’t win. Proud loser clowns! 😆

I’m surprised they aren’t using Trump’s standard excuse when he loses, “thEy ChEAteD!”

It appears that Europeans, the right and extreme right are finally realizing that the Marxist, far left woke globalists are destroying their culture from within. People are fed up and want to neutralize the woke DEI ideology. They want their culture preserved, they want controlled immigration and safe protected national borders. They want governments for the people, their people! It seems that most citizens prefer nationalism over globalism. IMHO

Histrionic. This is part of the ebb and flow that continues over decades. The people prefer moderation between the two....when the pendulum swings one way too much, they overcorrect.

This will happen again once the people get fed up with the farther right.

You didn’t read the article. Centrists controlled the EU parliament before the election and remain in control of the EU parliament after the election.

Minus out the extremes there still exist a climate where middle moderates on both sides want to enforce national sovereignty and national borders. They want to protect their national identity and culture. The right seems to be gaining momentum especially when dealing with climate zealots. Green climate zealots are in full panic mode.

Interesting article;

I saw the movie once, years ago. I never remember which is the red pill. A metaphor that works without a movie reference would be useful.
