Good luck Portugal!

Well ... about ten more minutes and than it starts. And although they play the uglier football ...

GO GREECE!!

CA

I am sorry Lauren for you ...

but YEHAAA ... Greece won it all! Who would have thought ...

now we need to secure this coach for the german team :D.

CA

SIGH !!!

Just looking at the Lit League, it looks like Gauche will creap in on the blind side, he played a Greek team, got 50 points.

I know you must feet gutted, Laur... but the Greeks just did what they have done all tournament. Gotta love a plan that comes together.

Lou won the Predictor on that result, then?

Not only that ... they also deserved the win, as they were the better team. Portugal had enough chances and enough time to even the score.

I wouldn't want to watch football played the way the Greeks play it, not all the time. I hope this doesn't turn all coaches into fitness freak, 10 men behing the ball types. But I admire the Greeks for having a plan and sticking to it. It worked against everybody... No wonder Snoop wants that guy for Germany.

Team is the word here. As one Dutch reporter said: the best team will win, not the best players.

Sorry, Lauren, it would have been nice for the host to win. But you guys did a great job. No riots, no ugly scenes, cheers!

If the Portugese had played the way they played vs. England they might have won it. Not only were the greeks better defenders, but Portugal was the inferior team.

And not only Snoop wants Otto for Germany now ... me and a couple of millions Germans also :D.

Absolutely... it was a belting tournament... great stadiums and everyone says the Portuguese were so welcoming. Makes me wanna get there!!!

My neighbour just called round to say that at his work, they had a sweepstake, and a mate of his bought two £2 tickets and pulled Holland and Greece. He sold the Greek ticket to someone else for... 25p. Would you not want to see his face at work tomorrow??
