And I was stupid enough to pick up. (Oh yeah, it could be important, I'm such a moron)

Now I missed the first 30 minutes. And I just saw that Roony is injured, what a bad luck for England.

Could be an interesting game though, now that England has scored early.

I live in England and England are playing. Who should phone me, 25 minutes into the game? The Goddam flippin' Labour Party, canvassing for public opinion on something or other!!! The LABOUR PARTY, the party in Government. Really in touch with the people, aren't they? Sheesh!

I just told him, "Sorry, the footy is on, I'm not talking to anybody."



Anyway, yes, good game so far (but only cos we're in the lead). It is messy. And, poor Rooney. I hope he'll be ok. It looked like he was crying, on some of the footage they showed here. I wanna hug him!

Our defenders need to wake up, that's for sure!

Bloody hell, it's a penalty shoot out.

For anyone who doesn't know (ie. those on the other side of the pond ), each team now gets five penalties - shots on goal, one on one with the goalie. They take turns. The team who scores most penalties, wins.

This is tense, we hav gone out of tournaments many times on penalties.
