I'd go along with a lot of that. England are bad at keeping the ball, and they cannot hope to keep a decent team from scoring if they give them enough ball. I think it depends what Portugal team comes out. Croatia showed little ambition until they were in trouble; that gave England space to play, and less pressure. Portugal have been guilty of that too (vs Greece, and vs Spain, in patches); on the other hand, if Figo, Ronaldo and others come at England, it will be very different.
