i was watching Entertainment Tonight last night ...

they were talking about a Canadian movie, made in the summer of 2000, which was scheduled for release shortly ... but has since been cancelled (rightly so) because it is a movie called: "Anthrax" ...

and yes it is about biological warfare ...

they interviewed the director who said the movie is very realitistic and in fact Health officials have questioned him because of his knowledge of Anthrax ..

well anyways the premise of the story, as the director said on this interview on ET, was that Canadian research facilities are easy targets for terrorists to steal viruses like Anthrax because of the lack of security in Canadian research centres.

welllllll ..... ok how stupid is this?

i am positively certain that the terrorists are scanning american television shows ....

oh man if they didn't think about attacking / invading Canadian research facilities before, well i guess ET just put that idea in their head ...

i am damn scared now ... how dare they broadcast such an interview ... i am not blaming the movie director ... he is proud of his movie and that is why he is talking ... i am blaming the television producer / the network ...

does anyone else see this as offensive?

Sheesh....what a moron...

I have a lot of fears since the attack. I know of very well known targets that are completely unprotected that I visit every day.

But I keep my mouth shut in public because I know people are listening....

I agree, Ms Isabelle!

At times, the media has certainly helped the "bad guys" along!

This morning, the latest report is that 20 people in Senator Daschle's office have tested positive. CNN suggests that possibly it may have been spread through the ventilation system. If that was not the case, I would imagine that someone, somewhere is thinking about how to introduce anthrax into a some ventilation system somewhere.

Hmmmm Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

Hugs for you, Isabelle!

In a more open world interviews like that are bound to be aired on a global basis one way or another. Just by posting here you have made it accessible to anyone who wants to read your post. I'm in England. But supposing I was in Pakistan and a supporter of bin Laden? You've just given me a great idea.

And even if the authorities had banned the broadcast there are plenty of others to draw from. Assuming of course that terrorists haven't already come to the same conclusion themselves as that portrayed in the interview.

:)
