Eroticism

For a thousand years artists have left us their visions of the erotic in sculpture and paint. Each piece as varied in eroticism as the model reflected by the work. Yet each is erotic and sometimes sexual.

To my imaginings, eroticism works primarily on the mind by emotions, while sexuality does so physically. It’s like riding the edge of true bliss and trying to remain balanced. Part of the definition of love lives there too.

Thanks.

I’d like to add: Eroticism encourages us to “FEEL” some things about the art. Sexuality encourages us “TO DO” something about it.
