In the same vein as my "write something everyday" thread, I remember someone giving me a link to a website that listed many erotica publishers and gave their submissions guidelines. That too was lost when my pc became a paper weight.

If you have something like the 'Herotica' or 'Best Erotic Stories' compilations, there are places to submit listed. Many of them have websites. If they don't, you can always write them and ask how to submit. Additionally, a google search will result in many options.

Off the top of my head, there are 'Clean Sheets' (but they don't pay) and 'Nerve' (they are both online and print).

You can look daily in one of your search engines using "Erotica Writers Guidelines" & "Ertoica Writers", it brings up new places to submit to.

I can tell you who not to send to, the payment is sketchy, you can be paid 15 - 25 for a certain amount of words in a story. Let's say you work your ass off, send in your best Literary Erotica, (because the site is very strict and it is a push to do your best without the "slang terms") Then you wait for six weeks to get approved, once they publish it is another four weeks until you are paid. But notice I still have not said the amount of money they are sending, they just tell you they are sending it.

I got a personal check for ten dollars for a 3500 word story, some of my best work.... sad, so be careful.. Literoticaffiene.com they do pay, but minimal 10 bucks (not worth it)

People you can count on in the Erotica area,
Threepillows.com
Noir.com
WickedVelvet.com
Ssspread.com
They all pay timely and most pay 30 at the least.

The market for offline (hard-copy) takes forever six months +, but Penthouse and Hustler both pay 100 for short stories.

If you have a novel you are working on in Erotica I suggest you go with Hearst publishing, they are least "uptight" and not worried about religious affiliations considering erotica/romantica as literary porn. Very few times do you need a middle man (agent), they are fair and work well directly with the authors.
Hope this helps.

If I recieved a cheque for 10 bucks I'd have to frame it Banks in the UK charge £10 - approx $15 for handling foreign cheque transactions.

Thanks DP, but I have 11 stories up on lit right now...what I didn't state as well as I thought I had was that I'm looking to publish in rl.

Mmm. Yes, I realised that. *sheepish smile*

Actually I read your original post as a website that listed many [Lit]erotica publishers and gave their submissions guidelines so...
