Erotic Story for Couples

My lover and I recently started bringing erotic stories into the bedroom. It really gets the both of us all worked up. However, my lover isn't comfortable with a lot of the erotic literature we can find. We're looking for some very simple, loving, husband and wife erotica. Vanilla, if you will. I'm having a hard time finding it.

Most erotica has some sort of kink or conflict. Couples erotica is usually about trying something new or fulfilling a fantasy. "My wife and I had an above-average evening of sex, here's the play by play" doesn't draw in readers or inspire most writers. But fantasy stuff is out there - role play, toys, voyeurism, etc. Avoid loving wives, check out romance or erotic couplings or exhibitionism. My own story, "Compromised", is about a married couple, and the sex is pretty straightforward, although its intertwined in a story involving marital conflict, counseling and hypnotism.

My hubby and I started out reading whatever took our fancy (individually, really) on lit. After a while we managed to find something that suited us both but our different reading speeds made it a little awkward.
In the end we decided to write for each other instead and that evolved into literary role play. There is something wonderfully satisfying about creating your own characters, writing their intimate relations, and replaying them as your lover reads your words

I had been trying to figure out in which section of the forum I could ask for recommendations of stories that meet criteria beyond the broad categories. Some searches suggested that this section is most often used for this purpose, although I didn't initially think of looking in here because its description on the front page of the forum is:

Guided author criticism of specific stories.​

... which doesn't sound right for this.

We're open to reading about a little kink, toys, roleplay and fantasy, etc. We were just mostly put off by the fact that the Loving Wives section was generally about extramarital relationships. I'll check out the Romance section.

However, writing our own sounds like fun.
