Books are always great gifts. For those that you're intimate with, erotic books are even more special. Something to share and appreciate exchanged between lovers. A lot of the artists that I've found online also have books with even more of their work featured in them. Literotica has even produced a book with a compilation of some of their best erotic stories in it. I'll start with it and add from there.
If you get a book for your lover, don't forget to enscribe something in the front to make it even more special.

"I have rarely seen nude photographs with the intimacy shown in these images. The models, dance students I believe, interact directly with the camera and also with the viewer. At their most brash they are also most vulnerable. The photographer has made something special here. He has somehow made an image of a living woman which opens that woman to our view on several levels. She is first of all and clearly alive. This is no magazine-fetish-mannikin-supermodel. This is a living, breathing woman. She is taking a pose, displaying herself for the camera; but she is also revealing herself in a way that few of us have ever seen. And yet, unlike the experience of other books of images, I do not come away with the sense that I was a voyeur, taking something. I felt like a participant, sharing something. This was a remarkable book."

Richard Kern: Model Release
Richard Kern, photographer
$40.00 @ amazon.com

"Finding out about Richard Kern is like discovering one of the photography world's best kept secrets, excuse the cliche. Always ignoring the line between pornography and art, Kern continues to use his mastery of light and colour to create visually fascinating pictures. Unlike his earlier book, New York Girls, Kern seems less concerned with s&m theatrics and relies on the personality and physical attributes of his models to interest the viewer. For the most part, the barely-legal appearance of the models and the use of his apartment for a background create a sense of unity throughout the book, and some of his most interesting shots are ones that appear in sequence, an influence of his earlier film days I am sure. One of my favorite things about the book is how Kern seems to use a lot of natural light in these new works, which complements the freshness and imperfection of the girls. The compromising positions of the models and use of ...(aparatus) may be too much for some people with their own issues to handle, but keeping an open mind one can really indulge his or her voyeuristic tendencies! The almost academic introduction is written by one the models, a film student herself. All analysis aside, the book is provocative and incredibly beautiful to look at!" ~ Amazon Reader Review
