Erotic Altruism : Special Edition of Coming Together

This grew out of EL's thread about finding a way to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina:

I am willing to pull together a "special edition" of Coming Together ... consisting of the Rainy Day Story Challenge stories (oddly appropriate) ... with proceeds to benefit hurricane relief/recovery efforts.

(Zoot -- your tsunami story would be a nice addition, too.)

Cloudy has pulled together a list of the participants and is PMing them for consent. Those who didn't participate in that challenge (from last September/October) can help by assisting in getting the stories into the proper format (given that we want to turn this around as quickly as possible).

I'll post a complete list of titles/links as soon as possible.

purple balcony, not where I kissed
the sun and her neck equally,
leaned against cast iron and
raised rock in Louie Park shade.

This is not where I chased a laughter
through alleys, across a busy Canal,
cornered a giggle in a gateway.

Not she and me
on a blanket, listening to
freestyling in Lafayette.

Not black rum on cane sugar beds,
not turning heads with public display,
not implausible hands
on impeccable skin
in impossible heat.

with a piece of me.
But New Orleans you are not.
How could you be?
