That's the title of the help request received late at night at the college computer center.

It seems that the brilliant math researcher failed to close a string again, but, being good at only theory, can't figure out what went wrong.

The tech on overnight is a student doing this to work her way through school. She goes to the nerd's workspace in the deserted math building. she leans in close, to look over his shoulder. Being a 28 year old virgin, that's all it takes for his cock to salute. Though she is also a virgin, she recognizes the biochemical tribute and giggles...

Would you make this an interracial story? Would it be straight sex? Kinky sex? True Love?

was it the title that scared people off?

I thought i'd at least get comments about how rarely I endorse romance...

I just couldn't figure out what "failed to close a string again" meant, or how it related to the title.

That's nerd language ....

It's hardly nerd language. It refers to a simple pythagorean logarithm where you add fibbonacci square roots to quadratic indicies that are factored to the Maxwell's Demon constant, then multiply it all by pi and carry the one.

Simple stuff, really. There's even a button for it on most $2 calculators.

it's something my son said after his computer simulation failed... not sure I understand it either, but I think it just means putting punctuation at the end of a sentence, except in numbers.

A string can also be a type variable used in a program. The variable holds text rather than a numerical value. A string variable needs delimiters, special characters that show the beginning of the text and the end of the text. If you don't close the string (include the special character at the end of the string), then computer thinks that all the other program commands are part of the string variable.

The lady tech works too many late nights to have much of a social life, even though in high school, she was one of the popular bitches.

The nerd always had his head in front of a computer screen or working fibbonacci square roots.

The math nerd comments about how well mathematics and computers work together. The lady tech, almost 10 years his junior, appreciates his biochemical response and rubs it in agreement.

Romance, lust, or both?

Jenny
