Endless Ends

< Virgo energy encourages us to turn to our inner wisdom, trust our intuition, and seek guidance and support from mother earth in the form of fresh air, sunshine, water, herbs, and nutrition.
That last sentence conjures an mental image of my burrowing int the dirt, like I used to as a child at the beach!

Honestly, I feel like I could use a little Mother Earth rejuvenation energy about now.

Terrifier 2! Have any of you guys seen this?
Ummm. 😳

After reading on the *special* gore effects and finding there is a full Three Minute decapitation scene....

Pretty sure that one is above my pay grade. *covers eyes*

* * *

For the more tame minded, I am most vexed that I can't find either one of these anywhere.

Wolf Manor (2022) and The Last Twitch (2023)

The last one just finished in time to show at the Horror-on-the-Sea festival in January, so I'm not entirely surprised, but the first one supposed to be out and streaming. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Enny, because of the coincidence of you just recently watching the movies about the giant Mongolian death worms, I'm thinking that the March Full Worm Moon is an omen for you !!! :D
Omg. You have just completely ruined my burrowing into the earth fantasy. 🤣

*watch the worm movie, she whispers*

:p

Oh no, it's way worse than a decapitation. 🤣 It's cartoonish violence though really. It's on par with the Evil Dead movies. It's offset by Art the Clown being weird and funny. Like I said though, it's not for everybody.

Way worse than a decapitation?! 😳

Way worse?!

You have a puzzling bed-side manner there, Boo. 🤣

Buuuuuuuut.

Evil Dead, you say? I love the Evil Dead movies!!!!

Okay. You may - against my better judgement - have talked me into this viewing....

(You may have to be available to hold my hand while I post and watch. :p)

Part 2 has a really interesting tone. It is indeed totally violent and over the top but the characters are great and Art the Clown really is a memorable horror villain. The dude that plays him is really talented.

The Clown Cafe scene kinda gives you an idea of what you're in for.

Something that might be a little more your speed are the movies X and Pearl. Mia Goth is absolutely amazing and scary (and funny af) in both of those. "I thought you like MEEEEE!"

Oh. My. 😳

I am...not entirely sure what that was....

Disturbing? 😂

I will absolutely grant you the phrase interesting tone. :p

Did you ever read My Heart is a Chainsaw? I do believe it would right up your alley.

That was NOT my intention, Enny. I thought the connection with the "worm" movies and the Full Worm Moon (with its reference to "mother earth in the form of fresh air, sunshine, water, herbs, and nutrition" would affirm your motivation to get that garden in, plus other outdoor activities.

From working in the ground tips: Worms help to increase the amount of air and water that gets into the soil. They break down organic matter, like leaves and grass into things that plants can use. When they eat, they leave behind castings that are a very valuable type of fertilizer. Earthworms are like free farm help.

So chop up the death worms you encounter, and spread their remains throughout the garden as you turn the soil. That will help attract the good worms. :D(y)

Are you casting me in the role of Death Worm Exterminator?

I fear...I fear...

I fear I would be far more dangerous to myself than the worms. 😂

Did I mention falling out of a tree recently? Which landed me with a busted lip, a temporary limp, and a variety of ows? I am such a klutz. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I dug 536 holes today.

With a shovel.

Not really. Only five. It just felt like 536. *thunk*
You do know you can rent a power auger . . . only problem is you have to have a firm grip and arm strength . . . otherwise it will spin you into the ground instead. Uhhh, maybe that isn't such a good idea for you.
