Day Two: Fence Removal.

Yep. Removed some. I don't normally consider low 90s hot, but when one is using a pry bar and dragging around fence slats in full sun, it's...well, hot.

Makes two hours seem LIKE 200.

Today marked the first day of working on the cow chute. The ancient head gate came loose easy. Climbing into the partially collapsed chute that's had trees growing in it undisturbed for a least fifteen years, not quite so easy.

On the plus side, I managed to avoid the dislodged railroad tie that had the RUDENESS to try and fall on top of me.

Turns out I'm nimbler than expected. *buffs knuckles*

I am all about the spoof and silly.

However....

Seeing Jaws for the first time was when I realized I had a shark phobia. I, legit, could not go into the water for like two years.

Honestly, even now....

I went scuba diving in the Caymans once. Nearly suffered cardiac arrest. Watching in 3D on a large screen would absolutely do me in.

Admittedly, my knowledge of cow barns is limited. My knowledge on hundred year old cow barns, even more so, but I really have to wonder why anyone would pour concrete in random places.

Other farm rehab questions :

-Why does poison ivy love abandoned fence structures?
-Old railroad ties can't be burned (creosote), but can they used in ravines to stop erosion (water immersion)?
