At first I thought you might have been confused - (because, you know, I frequently am ) - and were talking about Return of the Living Dead. (The one with the punk rocker.) But - NO.



Seriously, how did I not know? Was the scene expunged in some versions? Speaking of, how did it even get past the censors!? Huh. I can't remember exactly when Hays went defunct….



I fear I might be a tad shocked.

For no logical reason whatsoever.

I think I'm in shock. I've seen NotLD 20 times and never noticed there was a naked zombie traipsing about.

It was an independent film released as unrated. So I think it mostly showed at midnight showings and drive-ins. I doubt it could have gotten an R with all the flesh eating parts. Although, it was also one of the last movies released before the ratings system came into play.

Also, Return of the Living Dead is one of my favorites (and not just because of the excessive nudity—although that helps)

RotLD is underrated, in my opinion. Unique plot, pretty cinematography, unusual punker characters.

The sexy punk girl (whose name I cannot remember) was certainly an...asset.

I remember being fascinated with her when I first saw the film. She seemed so completely uninhibited. I was embarrassed and captivated all at the same time.

And the ending! Classic.

I need to watch that again.
