Endless Ends

Some of the guys. The speeds they reach. Both downhill and into the wind.

Im-pres-sive.

I am, without a doubt, seriously under muscled.

And lacking in inches.

And…tired.

*thunk*

Precode?! :cattail:
*POOOOOUNCE*
Strange though, right? About the lack of classic monster coloring. You'd think the market would be flooded with the good stuff, i.e. werwolves, vampires, mummies.
Can we do a kickstarter? :p

Monsters! :cattail:

A little Lovecraft, a little Shelley, a little Stoker. Irving, Poe, Kafka, and a few of which I’ve never heard. Not the greatest quality coloring book, perhaps, but a start.

Until we get that little matter of a kickstarter up and running. :p

I thought the same thing: Precode--I'm in!
Also, yes the lack of Monsters seems weird. Perhaps a kickstarter is in order. Since when did Universal Studios not want to sell something? I wonder if they have them in the theme parks?

Precode is hot.

I’m ready.

Finally.

After prolonged dithering I am now ready to color.

In a book.

With pencils.

Hmmm. High anxiety mode not only slows the decisions making process, it also encourages second guessing. Which is why I now own FOUR coloring books and THREE pencils sets.

As much time as I’ve spent fretting about material choices, this had better work. All I'm sayin'.

That's awesome that you met your fundraising goal!
But 185 in 5 days? WOW!!! 37 miles a day?

That is super impressive!

MS150 Complete!

The experience was inspirational. Highly recommended.

Seeing so many people out there riding. People with MS on special bikes. Parents with their teenagers. Elderly people doggedly getting off to walk the Austin hills. People of all shapes and sizes, ages, and levels of health getting out there to raise money for a charitable cause.

The ride itself was easier than anticipated. I was really nervous about making that 85 miles on the first day, but the event is so organized it eases the pain. Rest stops every 10-15 miles: bathrooms, refreshment, bike repair. It’s a party!

And the overnight in tents was fun. Food, massage therapists, assorted entertainments.

I will say I was the only one wearing a pink Cosabella nightie. Which the guys found hi-lar-i-ous. (You don’t want to know what they were wearing. I was just grateful they showered. :p)

If the idea piques your interest, there are 60-70 rides around the country. Make sure people who donate to you check with their places of employment. Many companies have a setup to match donations. :)

Now. This upcoming year. Yoga challenge or two mile swim?

I suspect I will be equally awful at both.

*groans*

Onward!!!

:p

Thank you! :)

It was nice to be able to combine a physical challenge with a good cause. A most worthy addition to the yearly roster.

Pink is one of my best color. ;)

Coming back to ^^.

I eventually ordered. Issue #8. Die Rainbow Die: A Story of Hope.

Most strange, and unique, and weirdly fascinating. Definitely worth the read for anyone who likes the offbeat.

I'll be tracking down more. :cattail:

The bestie and I decided to run out on duty today. We ended up spending our stolen time racking up a collection of *firsts*.

A few highlights from my list:

- Visited a Dollar Store.

- Bought a piece of sexy lingerie from a resale shop.

- Tried on a pair of cowboy boots.

- Made an offer on the ugliest house in the universe.

What a day I am having. :p
