Endless Ends

Sometimes, a girl just needs a bath with sugar scrub, a bath bomb, candles, Gerolsteiner, and her reader.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Enny, you continue to broaden my knowledge . . . "sugar scrub . . Gerolsteiner . . bath bomb . . Devil's on Horseback"

Unlikely to be used personally, but one never knows. :)

Also, is seems the plural of nemesis is nemeses.

That just seems wrong. Shouldn't it be nemesisis? Nemesisisis? Nemesisi?

I'm just a font of useless information. :D

Aaaaaaaand in my scrollings for a Lifetime-y crime drama, I came across: The Rendering (2002).

Aside from starring Shannon Doherty and looking terrible - the title. THE TITLE.

She plays a sketch artist, so . . . yeah, okay, but . . . no.

It sounds like someone is rendering fat.

I am not in the mood for a horror movie.

I am never in the mood for that kind of horror movie. 🤢

I am now side-eyeing my breakfast tacos . . . .

Okay. I booted up, sloshed outside and glared at the ragweed that is daring to attempt to invade my kingdom.

I gave it short shrift.

Well, I sent my SO to give it short shrift. :p

Ta da!

Tha's it. That is my contribution to outside work for the day.

That’s what SO’s are for right? Most excellent contribution on your part.

Knowing the proper order of things is enlightening. Or so I've been told, quite loudly, I might add, also more than once because I'm hardheaded. 🤔

I know my purpose in life. :p
Good boy? :p

It matters not. I am persistent.

Persistent, it seems, wears down stubborn, hardheaded, deflective, elusive, whiney, difficult, and all variations of selective hearing. 💪

The search for the perfect cacio e pepe continues.

Why is it so difficult to get the pecorino smooth. 🤔

I want to know how the original Goya Gardenia smelled.

Their iconic Aqua Manda, too, if I'm getting wishes.

When you come to London (the proper one in the UK), I'll glady take you for afternoon tea.
Really?!?!

*squeals*

I don't think I've ever had a proper British tea. Only food grabbed on the go while traveling and the US Southern kind. 🤔

Oooh! Now I have a trip goal. And then I could swing by after and see Hadrian's wall and the Isle of Skye, neither of which I managed before when I visited the British Isles.

I am unreasonably excited! *squeals again*

Gloves optional.
I always have gloves. At least, sun gloves.

Summer here is like the scorched seventh circle of Dante's Hell. 🤣

Also, I should probably be embarrassed to say that I did not know there was city called London in Texas. (Population 180. 😝 )

There are just sooooooo many small towns in Texas and the state is a smidge large.

For the edification of all - :p - there is also:

- New London (population ~1,000)
- "London" - a fast growing, happening suburban area in Corpus Christie*

*I'm having a hard time picturing this. 🤔
