Yes! I have been setting intentions and reconnecting with nature in my environment this last couple of weeks. Normally I'm not a huge fan of spring. Seeing how it precedes summer. But this year's associated project are going to bloom. I can feel it.

If the weather is nice I might do a little midnight dancing. 🔥

Since we seem to be back to discussing the moon, can we talk about putting dedicated laboratories for genetic manipulation and virology work in the bedrock? At least BSL-4 lab work.

It's crazy that work is done in communities, where a few wrong moves risks populace exposure.

Nope. A little virus spill onto some moon dust is the exact way we get some kind of B-movie style Moon Monster attack.

Too risky.

Maybe we can try just not doing those tests. 🤔

It's interesting how most of the articles an the Artemis Accords focus on international cooperation and planetary benefit but gloss over how establishing national ascendency is a necessary strategy as far as geopolitical space dominance as well as a race to exploit lunar resources. 🤔

And since we're talking about tech - because we are, aren't we? :p - let me say wheeeeeeee to the University of Texas Protohub and resultant funding for an H1 fueling station network in Texas.

Yeah, I know. I couldn't figure out how to superscript on my laptop

Today I work on more property sculpting. This whole create a closed system, ecologically sound, garden, retro yet luxury living oasis is an awfully sweaty business. 😬

Oh, and also putting in a couple of hours on the back gate area. I can't remember if I've talked about this before, but the farm is sandwiched between two roads. There are gates on both sides, but one is not a proper entrance, and time and plant growth have made getting through the dilapidated gate tricky at best.

The stretch between road and fence line is a mess. The county(?) mows along the side of the road, but it's still a hazard of poison ivy, trash, crazy overgrowth, and dropped branches.

I've been working on it for a while now, with a view to reclaiming the entrance, and have reached the point where it's all about the clearing. So, so, so much clearing. *thunk*

I've moved to just working on it a couple of hours a week. Otherwise, it's just too overwhelming to think about, much less work on.

Could I pay someone to do the work? Sure, but I highly object to paying people to do things that I am capable of doing myself. Especially as the are likely to clear indiscriminately, be wildly expensive, and leave me unhappy with the job done. 🤨

Stupid people.

(Yes. It's all about those other people. 🤣)

Ugh. Okay. I'm going to quit slacking and go to work.

:p

Are you going to put in a water feature?
There is already a small pond, with - when it rains - an occasional stream, so probably not. I'm wanting. Too, water features, or, at least what aI think of as water feature, tend towards looking contrived, or breaks up the seamless flow.

I really want the seamless flow.
