Anesthesia costs money. A lot of hospital’s are cutting costs by choking their patients out.Does your neck measure more than 15 3/4 inches around?
Are you buying a medical turtle neck? What medical procedure was the info for? While filling out the mountain of paperwork that seems de rigueur these days for any type of medical procedure, I ran across this question:
-Does your neck measure more than 15 3/4 inches around?
I mean . . . what?!![]()
AGAIN with the rudeness!I hope they’re not getting the pox from your unmentionables!
I didn’t say they WERE!AGAIN with the rudeness!![]()

They just need to make sure “their guy” has the proper size hands.![]()
I have no idea what this is. And I'm okay with that. Are you buying a medical turtle neck?
Grabbing at straws....wondering why such an exact neck dimensionI have no idea what this is. And I'm okay with that.![]()

I wear a 17 1/2. I thought that was within normal range. Anyone wearing a Men’s XL or bigger is probably around that or larger.Okay. So. Apparently neck size is related to an increased risk of obstructive sleep apnea, which can lead to hypoxia in conscious sedation, as well as more likelihood of airway collapse.
(I really need to stay off the internet.)
Obesity related, I guess, but hardly definitive. Mine is nowhere near even 15 inches, but it seems like average collar size for men is 15-15 1/2. Too, seems like a narrow range. How do they deal with outliers.![]()
Harney and Sons! So many great teas. Paris is in my rotation. As is Victorian London Fog.Harney and sons have an excellent selection of teas. Paris is one of my favorites.
Noted. Thanks for doing my homework for me. If I can carry your books home from school sometime let me know. Tom
My point. If 15 1/2 is average, one can only infer a large segment of the male population is outside the range. Maybe they shift your acceptable number based on gender. It is all online and that question comes first.I wear a 17 1/2. I thought that was within normal range. Anyone wearing a Men’s XL or bigger is probably around that or larger.
We had otters on our little dock one night last summer and over never forgotten! They’re adorable! I bought a trail cam in the (so far) vain hopes of catching them again! So. I have seen a wide array of creatures out here in these animal infested rural climes. Some, wonderful surprises. Some, not so much.
The weekend takes the cake. In the ravine connecting two bodies of water, there was -
AN OTTER. WITH HER BABY.
I am still a little flabbergasted. I thought such were confined to coastal areas. It was ah-mazing!
*still so excited*
It's just crazy! I'm nowhere near the coast and a good 2-3 three hour drive from a large body of water. Where they are living I can't imagine. We had otters on our little dock one night last summer and over never forgotten! They’re adorable! Ours are river otters. The apparently travel in loops around the various tributaries of the main riverIt's just crazy! I'm nowhere near the coast and a good 2-3 three hour drive from a large body of water. Where they are living I can't imagine.
We have had torrents of rain recently, and everything is full to the brim. But still!
They were so incredibly cute!!!![]()
Also, let me say how shocked I still am at how you managed this so off the cuff!Anesthesia costs money. A lot of hospital’s are cutting costs by choking their patients out.
