Okay. So. Apparently neck size is related to an increased risk of obstructive sleep apnea, which can lead to hypoxia in conscious sedation, as well as more likelihood of airway collapse.

(I really need to stay off the internet. )

Obesity related, I guess, but hardly definitive. Mine is nowhere near even 15 inches, but it seems like average collar size for men is 15-15 1/2. Too, seems like a narrow range. How do they deal with outliers.

Also, also. I am in the midst of switching from coffee to tea.

Coffee is lovely, but I can't drink it black, and the additional honey is a sugar hit. I am still drinking some coffee and I like to try different offerings. Like regenerative, biodynamic, that sort of thing.

The other day I stumbled across something I hadn't seen before in a brand I occasionally purchase. It's only organic, not regenerative, but I couldn't resist.

My point. If 15 1/2 is average, one can only infer a large segment of the male population is outside the range. Maybe they shift your acceptable number based on gender. It is all online and that question comes first.

The weekend takes the cake. In the ravine connecting two bodies of water, there was -

AN OTTER. WITH HER BABY.

We have had torrents of rain recently, and everything is full to the brim. But still!

Ours are river otters. The apparently travel in loops around the various tributaries of the main river . So they should be in the area regularly but that doesn’t mean they stop on my spot of shore

As a child, I was taught it was quite rude to ask people things like what they did for a living or questions about their family or background.

Not only rude, but a faux pas, a vulgarity.

Today, people ask those things on first meet. I find it extremely off-putting.

Is my view regional? Old fashioned? Obsolete? Am I just out of touch with the times?
