Endless Ends

I never saw the second one. I’m not even sure I saw the first one.
It’s just one of those movies you know about.

YES!!!!!!!

That second movie. Where he was painted to mimic the wall mural and NO ONE NOTICED. 😱

There is now zero chance of sleep tonight.

See, @SalaciousMonkey22? Unihemispheric sleep. 😂
It’s from Black Christmas which is an awesome, shockingly non exploitative early slasher. I don’t recall Carol Kane in it though. Been a couple years though.

I don’t think zero sleep is quite the same thing? 🤔

I was going to say both movies have that same twist.
Black Christmas and When a Stranger Calls.
I think Black Christmas did it first. 👍

Ohhhhhh.

What was that babysitter movie with cute blond that usually made comedies with the long curly hair that did the famous movie with that plot. There was a sequel. That scared the bejesus out of me. 🫣
Are you thinking if Scream and Drew Barrymore? Which was paying homage to Black Christmas amongst other things.

By a few years, I think.

Nope. Definitely When a Stranger Calls. But that first Scream was a fantastic movie! I did not know the Barrymore scene was paying homage to Black Christmas.

Honestly I forgot about When A Stranger Calls With is more directly what Scream was referencing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. Slashers ain’t my favorite. I love Scream but other than that…I only watched Black Christmas because my daughter told me I’d like it 🤣

There is this list of wellness retreats I am working through in my way through in the US.

(Wellness retreat = destination spa.)

I've been trying to book a week at one for the last FOUR MONTHS. It's been this continuous mishap of conflicting schedules and cancellations. Today. Finally. My friend a I both find ourselves with three workable weeks.

Sometime in July I will be massaged, wrapped, silked, mudded, and sugar scrubbed. That would be in between meditation, chi work, and farm-to-table dining.

I am once again looking forward to being dusted with hibiscus powder.

*squeals with delight*

😳😳😳

Uh. I am pretty certain I don't have the moxy to be a Final Girl.

#cowardatheart

Do Final Girls like spas? 🤔

All right. I have just read all about the Final Girl arc.

I can do this. 😎

Let's crowd fund a movie!!!

Hibiscus is my favorite flower.🌺

Did you figure out who sent the book?

This is what happens when you read a thread backwards.
Still no idea. No explanatory follow up note. I've called everyone.

I'm left with sifting through all the ways I might possibly have stumbled into the crosshairs of a slasher/serial murder, thereby finding myself in the position of Final Girl -

(Thank you @hotwords229_A. 😳)

Or.

Calling the people I'd rather not. 🤣

Oof.

Surety of the upcoming bodibuff has kicked my drive to get the worst of this outside work handled before spa check-in. So I don't have to face it when I get back.

Dependent on what week we choose this may not happen, but I a going to give it the old college try. Yesterday I drank a gallon and a half of water. Today, I could only manage about six hours.

I am toast. 🤣

The rest of the day will be comprised of the couch and old movies.

And browsing spa treatments. :p

I have perused and settled on a couple.

Well, maybe a few.

Okay - more than a few. :p

Hmmm. I don't know that they serve alcohol. 🤔

More likely fancy herbal or fruit mocktails.

Drat! Chigger bit in an unmentionable space. 🤬

A pox on all chiggers.

Hydrocortisone on all chigger bites. There are no eggs laid in the chigger bite. The bite is like a big bunch otmosquito bites, usually on feet and legs.
