Encounters by degree

The other day on the chat feature i noticed a room titled 'The Loser Room' but no one was on it.
i thought about it a bit and wondered if that would be an appropriate title for myself as far as a sexual life was considered. It made me think of the different encounters over the years, and how sporadic they all seemed to be. Many were satisfying but to just a certain degree.
Here was a list i came up with, by no means complete. First were those just out of the blue or spontaneous. These seemed to be very exciting. Second were the Hook-ups through ads and such, many very embarrassing or disappointing due to the other person just not showing up. Third were actual dates that were sort of planned. They too often just did not work out. And last were the relationships that maybe lasted a couple of months or even a couple of years. These seemed to end with heartbreak at least on my end. Included in these relationships about the most satisfying were those of Friends With Benefits.
i suppose in Love i would be considered a Loser. Not that i did not really try to please the partner or just the other person.
But then maybe that is how a submissive should feel.

We all lose in some way don't we? Relationships end, we all have bad sex at one time or another.

I agree with out of the blue sex, I think for same sex hook ups this has been good for me.

Sex through ads - going back to pre Internet jeez there was no-shows, ones where you caught a glimpse then ran for it. Not successful times.

Relationships do tend to end, and ends aren't fun. Fwb definitely recommended.

Remember we always have our hands to make out with at the end of the day.

I tend to agree. Here’s my simplified order from top to bottom
1. FWB-never let you down, you know exactly what you’re getting and how it’s coming. Closest thing to an open relationship.
2. Being in a relationship. Normal ups and downs that may lead to permanence. Stand as much chance of any other of becoming stale of growth in separate directions.
3. Casual hook ups. The most exciting due to the unknown. Can be great can suck. the hook is the unknown.
4. Prearranged meet ups with unknowns. Just no. Flakes, duds, psychos……will stay home with my toys before going back into that arena.
5. Set ups. Some might put this higher but there’s usually too much expectation to perform making it more like a 4 than a 3 and significantly less than a 1 unless the FWB is a participant in which case I’d rate it as a 1A.

Friends With Benefits is always awesome. You can develop some chemistry, learn what each other likes, and all of that.

I absolutely love spontaneous hookups. They are just exciting. Yeah, sometimes they are disappointing, but that's how it goes.

Prearranged meet-ups can be a blast, especially if there is a bunch of hot chat. The one thing I hate about those is it can feel like you're scheduling an apartment. I hate when it gets down to "I'm free at seven on Thursday."

"No, that doesn't work for me. How about six on Wednesday?"

I like my prearranged to be a little spontaneous.

I'm never looking for a serious relationship.

That is true as one can never tell who might be sort of crazy or full on crazy. Guess that is the time to really work one's skills to find an escape route. Some of the people out there might think WE are the psycho ones.
