I wish I could find a clip of the irritated German diplomat who called Tiny Peter Hegseth "clumsy" to his face. I imagine it took all of Hegseth's military discipline to keep his roid rage in check and not punch the guy out.

IF they aren't that smart we really need to figure out who is pulling the strings. Amongst the people Trump fired were the people in charge of the nukes, the EO to end Birth Right Citizenship should be getting more attention than it is, there is apparently some attempt to get the mineral rights to Indian Reserves by turning them into counties instead of reserves , and a few other stories that are things of actual weight.

Both are working towards their own goals. Trump's happy if Musk makes him look good to his base and increases his wealth. ICE agents had been required to wear body cameras since May 2024. Morale has plummeted at ICE as a result, agents could no longer routinely abuse detainees without potential consequence.

Yesterday morning, some basement dweller on the popular "hate site" called Reddit.com announced he had made an extension to the F-Droid electronic "communication sniffer" app (only available on Android phones) that will analyze Bluetooth chatter and alert you if anyone wearing a bodycam is within bluetooth range of you.

ICE panicked, declared the decline of fucking American civilization was nigh, operational security for ICE had been "severely compromised" because anyone using this app would have a massive "100 yard headstart" to flee from agents.

Yes, ICE seems to think that Bluetooth range extends the entire length of a football field.

Maybe in theory, but has anyone ever gotten ANY Bluetooth device to extend beyond, say, 30 feet?

Little factoid emerged today: Every American President and Vice President has made a courtesy visit to the German Chancellor's office since the end of World War 2 (that's 80 years of tradition, folks).
